“So delicious. A co worker turned me on to this chicken many years ago and I have to get it when I’m in the area. I always get the half or quarter chicken combo with cilantro rice and spicy beans. Amazing! The sauces are so good they should sell both by the jar. I should try something else but the chicken is so good I can’t. Always friendly service too!“

“If you love snapper, this is definitely a place I would recommend checking out. For the price, the portion size of the snapper is absolutely perfect, and the flavor is amazing. Every time I’ve ordered it, the snapper has been the highlight of the meal.

The only area I think could use a little improvement is the sides. I normally order the black beans, beans, or lentils, and the portions can sometimes feel a little small. On a couple of occasions, it seemed like I received more broth or soup than actual beans.

That being said, overall this is still a very solid place to eat. They have several other good menu options, but the snapper is definitely my favorite. If you’re a snapper lover and want a great portion with excellent flavor at a reasonable price, this is a place I would absolutely recommend.“

“Wonderful dining experience at this location in Riverview. Restaurant was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Ordered a brisket sandwich with fries. Brisket was tender and juicy and fries were fresh hand-cut potatoes. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely return again.“

“We went to the location on Gandy Boulevard today. We were just passing by and saw it so looked up the menu online. At this particular location there was a kiosk to order and no indoor seating. There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious! “My dog who passed away in March loved their strawberry shortcake. We did end of life photos in strawberry shortcake theme and even bought on from there. He passed a week later. When we told the people what we were doing they gave us an extra side of whip cream just for his end of life photos. I have these amazing photos to cherish forever“

Door Dash picked up the wrong order, so I called and Mike (the owner) was able to get them to come back and deliver the correct one. Personally called me and also gave me loyalty credits to make up for the wait. I order from this location all the time, because my office is close by. “We went here for the first time to see our friends who were all there for the Battle of the Bands and it was great!!! Al Torchia and the Tattered Saints were playing.
The place is much bigger than one would think from the outside and it has multiple areas to check out and have different vibes. There is a back/side good size room with some games and I would think that’s where groups would watch like soccer or rugby matches. At least that’s what it reminded me of. The bar area is pretty big with high top tables some with the nice bench seats on one side so a great area to watch the bands on stage. The bartender was super nice and attentive. We didn’t get food because we got there kinda late but I’m sure we could have. Our friends did and they all said it was very good. The bands rocked the place but it has good acoustics so it never felt too loud. And even has a dance floor. Very cool place for a burger and a beer or great music.“

Just a heads up, you don’t have any indoor seating to this restaurant, there are just a couple picnic table set up outside but the food is outstanding and you can take it inside and eat it at the bar area seating or there’s an outdoor patio seating off of the JW Marriott Bar.“
