“I was shocked that my lunch, a sandwich, fries and a drink cost 💲 18.29, and then dissappointed when the meal actually came. The board you order from barely has any pricing on it. If you’re going the charge dinner pricing for lunch, the food should at least be freaking amazing. It was my first and definitely my last time.“

“Best bbq I ever tasted! Brisket, Gator bites, Chicken wings, Ribs all cooked to perfection. I even stopped by for breafast the next morning and had my 1st better than hardees biscuits and gravy along with, "What!" smoked corned beef with poatatoes. It made our day! I heard about this place up north and can say if anyone is remotely in the Tampa area.....They should stop by!!! Thank You Jimmy Jo's!!“

“Had a decent overall experience going to Longhorn celebrating our anniversary. The hostess was kind and courteous and had us seated fairly quickly. The server was kind but checked in somewhat sporadically, although the place wasn't overly crowded it appeared there were very few servers so she was quite busy.
Food was overall decent. I thought their prices were overall reasonable and the flavors were good enough. I got the ribeye and they cooked it nicely but didn't leave me wowed. My wife got a parmesan crusted filet which she thoroughly enjoyed. Sides were good but not great.
Overall a decent dining experience. Probably wouldn't go back in favor of trying other places but definitely not a bad option if you're looking for a steakhouse in the area.“

“First Class all the way! Had them cater our event for over 250 people, the ‘Topping Off’ party for the new hospital being built in Riverview on 301. From Set -up, the servers and take down- 1st class!!! The food was wonderful!!! Highly recommend.“

“Needs a little more consistency on the grill. Have ordered same meal 5 times and the seasoning wasn't consistent. Side items DR, Collards and M&C is more consistent than the meats. I would recommend giving them a try and you judge the restaurant for yourself because everyone has a different taste palate.“

“OMG! Mr. Ice Cream did not come to play not one game! We got 2 dinners one turkey leg dinner with potato salad and beans and he even put the bean juice on my potato salad like i asked ? then one rib dinner with potato salad and beans. “I’ve been eating at Big John’s since I was a little kid, back when they were still in the old orange building, and it’s still my favorite BBQ spot in Tampa. Places like this are rare. They’ve been part of the community for decades, and after all these years the people there feel more like family than staff. Shoutout to Mr. Fred for always treating everyone like they’re regulars. My sister even had her first job here, so this place has been part of my family’s story for a long time.
The food has never let me down. The BBQ is always cooked just right, the sauces are easily some of the best around, and every side tastes like it was made with the same care as the main dish. Whether I’m grabbing ribs, pulled pork, or brisket, I know exactly what I’m getting every time.
The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming feel that makes you want to stick around, and the service is second to none. Even when the lunch rush has the place packed, the line moves fast, ordering is easy, and the food comes out quicker than you’d expect. Big John’s has earned every bit of its reputation, and after all these years I still recommend it to anyone looking for the best BBQ in Tampa.“

“Anchor Tavern DI has become one of my favorite local spots. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are friendly, and it's easy to settle in and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed.
The wings are always a must and some of the best I've had. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal here. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and exactly what you hope for from a great neighborhood tavern.
The service is excellent and everyone is genuinely friendly and attentive. It's the kind of place you recommend to friends because you know they'll have a great time. “just got home from having a wonderful meal at roadhouse. the meal was fantastic at an incredible price. the place was so busy. sunday at 5.30. but the service was exceptional. the server treated us like we were the only table there. there were 6 of us. we all took food home. we can not say enough about our positive experience. will def be back.👍“

“Burnin Barber-Que catered my daughter’s graduation party and to say that the food was spectacular is an understatement!! Their BBQ and sides were/ are the best that I have had in YEARS!!!!! I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be returning when I come back to Tampa!!“

This is how jerky's meant to be: thin, drier like it was in the 'original' old days, was tougher back then, which I kinda like too, chew/gnaw on it for awhile! Great job here though!! “Love the bread! We both had a great dinner for our anniversary. We were taken care of by Dani that provided great service even though she was slammed busy. We ordered salmon and a t-bone steak along with loaded baked potatoes. The broccoli with my salmon was cooked flawlessly. We also ordered the chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, and the chocolate cake for dessert. The bill came out to around 120 bucks including tip.“
