“Tried a new place this evening. It is called Beef & Sea located in Winthrop on W. Bloomingdale Ave. We had the French Dip Au Jus with their home sliced onion rings. OMG it was great! Give them a try and I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. Great food and very friendly and attentive staff.“

So I called ask management if they've improved per complaints because I wanted to go for dinner since our freezer/ refrigerator still not working properly since Milton.Let me say from greeter to our waitress was warm/ friendly patient ( my son ordered his food). I must say it was a great experience. We had delicious/ fresh hot food shortly after ordering. Even got an extra Spinach dip by mistake! Salena

Kid-friendliness: Waitress was patient & gave variety of choices to my son for lemonade. She caught his eye when, mentioned mango flavor ( his favorite flavor for drinks now)“

“We went into Cali Aji a few weeks ago (also very very good) and we were told we had to try this . That the burgers were really good. That was a huge understatement.. The burgers are awesome!!!! I had a burger 3 ... Incredible tastes mingle in each bite. Next time... I'm going for burger 4.... And yes, the service was great too.“

“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “we have been coming here for 15+ years in all that time only had one problem with the food. the food is always good and fresh.the servers are also top notch April Beal is awesome I've seen her all by herself in the dining room. not only is she fast but very efficient I have food allergies and I have never had to send anything back she and Marcus always get it just right! she has a sparkling personality and she and Bobbie make it a fun place to come! trivia night is also fun and we just love our experiences at "Beefs" we have been to others and they just don't cut the mustard! keep up the good work and please reward your good workers“

“Great place to come for a laid-back burger and beer any day of the week or weekend. The booths are comfy and you can see virtually any game on NFL days, which is great if you're so inclined. Burgers are excellent and cauliflower apps are our favourite. Their turkey sandwich is the quiet hero of the menu. They have a nice schedule of weekday specials to chose from, and can customize your choices to a degree - like if you prefer broccoli over fries, or similar. Great to-go option for those who order online. Ample parking - AC on HIGH for humid days.“

“Love this place, however we were seated in a booth by a window, the blinds were closed which was fine, but the dust on those blinds were unbelievable, i know that dust has to be falling into your food. Won't sit by window anymore, food and service is awesome“

“My wife, son and I dined in tonight for dinner. I want to first, thank the manager that hired the young man that served us tonight. He was beyond nice and friendly. And most importantly thank you to the man that served us. Your enthusiasm for your job and friendliness made our night. Especially our son, who drew him a photo to thank him.
