I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “Listen it's Applebee's however, we came in pretty late after a local high school graduation with a party of 14. We were not the only large party in attendance by the way. Our server, Jason was absolutely amazing accommodating and patient with our group which consisted of all age groups. The food was OK, because hey, it's Applebee's (no offense) but the service was top notch. People like Jason make the world go round, people like Jason make the world easier to navigate. We need more Jasons. Peace!“

“The food is always amazing! I came in and I got a server I have had before, but not often. Maybe one other time? I think she’s newer is why. I come in somewhat regularly. Maybe once, sometimes a couple of times a month. Anyway I sit down and she immediately recognized me as a tea drinker, which I am. She remembered that I had a unsweetened tea last time I was in. I was floored! She says servers don’t get many customers ordering tea. I was still impressed! She even came up with a suggestion to try the works omelette as a frittata next time. She was outstanding! Some of the best service I have had in a while. I usually get pretty good service when I actually go out to eat, which hasn’t been that common lately. I’ll make sure to ask for this wonderful server next time. Her name is Sydney, by the way. I look forward to sitting in her section again soon.“

“We really enjoy Trivia Night. However, service is poor. We visit every Wednesday with our family. This past week was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was alone for a bit this week and had my laptop and books spread out on the table. It was impossible not to notice my setup. The waitress had one other table and it was right next to me. I waited over 30 minutes before going inside and ordering a drink. She said she didn’t see me. We made eye contact multiple times. I’m sure she probably thought the big party was a big tip. However, the rest of my family was joining me. We tip well, so definitely her loss.“
