“Staying in Tampa nearby, decided to get Thai food. Everything was prepared quick and the portion sizes were very generous. Prices are pretty good for the size too.First off, Pad Thai had a lot of flavor with the tamarind tanginess and sweetness shining through. Loved the Crab Fried Rice. It was spicy but not overpowering and the crab itself was definitely real. Helpful guest experience and from someone that is part Thai the ambience and food when I went in the evening made me feel kinda like being back home.“

“Mad Dogs is a fun locals' spot with good food, proper pints and friendly staff and regulars! A local recommended this place to me while I was on a business trip. They have a small outside bar and seating area that is more like a front porch at your buddies house. The inside has several tables and another bar area. I sat at the the inside bar where you get full service and menu. They have a couple tvs and when the bar tender/manager saw me watching a game on my phone he changed the channel for me without asking. The beer tap offering is up to snuff with a few English pints of which to choose. Their menu has several English, Irish and American choices. I chose the fish and chips (pic attached). It was perfect. The fish was hot, crispy and delicious. The amount of hand it fries was ridiculous but they were salted well and hot. Everyone knew each other and they made me feel welcomed. It was such a good experience I'll be back to try the burger soon!“

“Nice sports bar in Ruskin. Typical type of bar food, burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. What was different is they have a daily special and bigger entrees. There were a lot of people eating the spaghetti and meatballs and it was a big portion and looked good. They also have baskets that comes with two sides. I chose the fried fish nuggets and I was surprised that there was shrimp in the basket to. For my sides I had the cole slaw, and upgraded to the Gouda Mac and cheese. They do offer grilled or blackened as a choice as well. They have a large selection of appetizers to. Prices are typically as other places $10+. They also have a full bar, plenty of tables for larger parties. Definitely easier to get to from Parrish instead of trying to get to Bradenton. It also seems to be a place that older citizens like to go to, there was a bus load from Sun City having dinner when we arrived but out wait time was minimal. This is a place I would go back to.“

“We generally go here for breakfast, but lunch and dinner was a great surprise. The atmosphere is a little weird. Because it's sort of styled like a New York diner with black and white and booths but then they have like these Tiffany lights hanging down which make no sense to me but it's like they just hadn't gotten around a changing them yet. Doesn't change the flavor of the food. I usually get the Mexican omelette for breakfast, which is super spicy and tasty. My daughter got wings which were very meaty and very tasty. My husband got one of the burgers and they had a large selection of burgers and it looked amazing and he said it tasted great. This place is worth the stop to try it out. It is located near busy 301 so there may be some traffic noise. There is a pretty mural painted on the wall. Umbrellas, tables and some artificial grass also. They are open till 0300 and since I arrived at the hotel a couple blocks away, late on a Tuesday night- I found this place. The wings are very good. Well worth the price . They have multiple seasonings . The cheesesteak is good for a Tampa bar, and the burger is ok as Well. So- get the wings! There’s a lot to do- digital bowling, darts and meeting people.
