Highly recommend this hidden gem. I’ve probably driven by this place at least a couple dozen times and never noticed it. The fish are chips are the best I’ve had in a long time. I got the truffle fries with it and it comes with ketchup, tartar sauce and vinegar. Also recommend the scotch eggs. I was pleasantly surprised when the egg was still runny and cooked to PERFECTION.Parking: Parking can be a little tight
After a walk down Bayshore with my two pups we needed a place to cool down and grab a quick bite. I stopped here on a recommendation from the "BringFido" app, which shows pet-friendly locations for dining, recreation, and hotels. I left a review there as well, but suffice to say we had a wonderful time here! Our waitress was super attentive and brought a fresh water bowl out shortly after our arrival. Mad Dogs is a fun locals' spot with good food, proper pints and friendly staff and regulars! A local recommended this place to me while I was on a business trip.
