“I've been meaning to check this place out as I live just down the road. I wish I had come sooner! A truly great addition to this up and coming area of florida. A very active and lively atmosphere. More upscale than a lot of the establishments in the area, but not too much. You're fine in shorts and a shirt, but you're equally as comfortable dressed up a bit. Great food. Great presentation. Staff was attentive and professional. Highly recommended!“

“What a nice hidden gem for Bradenton! Since moving out to rural southern Hillsborough County, we have longed for a higher-end restaurant experience. Our daughter turned us on to MJ's and, with high hopes, we set off to find this rather non-descript exterior tucked next to a convenience store just off SR64. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Inside, the food, service and ambiance exceeded our every expectation. Five of us sampled six different menu offerings and all of us were struck by the complex flavors a good kitchen can produce. A clearly well-experienced server, Mattie was knowledgeable about the entire menu, attentive to our needs -- but not to a fault -- and allowed us to proceed at our own pace. Can’t wait to return and try some more dishes!“
“In plaza in downtown Palmetto next to Walmart. It is noisy but it is a sportsbar. Has games, darts, and pool. My husband and I usually sit at the bar and no matter how busy they get our service has always been superb! Food is delicious, and great selection of beer. Definitely do the garlic cheese curds! I like the burgers and Jaxx chicken sandwich as well. Reasonably priced for quality of food. I would prefer a leaf of lettuce rather than shredded but that is just my personal preference.Parking: depending on time of day or night parking can be a challenge but for the most part we always get a spot.Kid-friendliness: a few games for kids and it is loud so no worries bringing the kiddos“

“Nice sports bar in Ruskin. Typical type of bar food, burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. What was different is they have a daily special and bigger entrees. There were a lot of people eating the spaghetti and meatballs and it was a big portion and looked good. They also have baskets that comes with two sides. I chose the fried fish nuggets and I was surprised that there was shrimp in the basket to. For my sides I had the cole slaw, and upgraded to the Gouda Mac and cheese. They do offer grilled or blackened as a choice as well. They have a large selection of appetizers to. Prices are typically as other places $10+. They also have a full bar, plenty of tables for larger parties. Definitely easier to get to from Parrish instead of trying to get to Bradenton. It also seems to be a place that older citizens like to go to, there was a bus load from Sun City having dinner when we arrived but out wait time was minimal. This is a place I would go back to.“

“There is a variety of menu items. They are only opened till 2PM except on Fridays when they close at 7 pm. Friday is their all you can eat fish fry for 12.99 . It includes all the fish you want along with French fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The staff is very friendly and they take credit cards too.“
“This is definitely a go to spot for dinner. They have a good variety and selection of food choices as well as some great beers on tap. The restaurant has high tops, bar area seating, booths and regular table heights for larger groups. Plenty of TVs all around to view your favorite sports programming. You know, the service and food are good because they are always busy. Their wings are cooked to order, which is rare as some other local restaurants blanch them then they just douse them in the type of flavor profile you want. The pizza is outstanding, and they make a great buffalo chicken salad. Start out with Howl at the Moon Fries! One of the great things about Wolves Head is the wait staff. They have some outstanding servers who make sure you have a great experience while you are there. Ian, Danny and Aubrey are best in class when it comes to Customer Service. The best Customer Service I've seen in a long time , if something is not right with the order one of the owners will come by or management staff to find out what occurred and then make sure you have what you need. You should really experience eating there.“
“We generally go here for breakfast, but lunch and dinner was a great surprise. The atmosphere is a little weird. Because it's sort of styled like a New York diner with black and white and booths but then they have like these Tiffany lights hanging down which make no sense to me but it's like they just hadn't gotten around a changing them yet. Doesn't change the flavor of the food. I usually get the Mexican omelette for breakfast, which is super spicy and tasty. My daughter got wings which were very meaty and very tasty. My husband got one of the burgers and they had a large selection of burgers and it looked amazing and he said it tasted great. This place is worth the stop to try it out. Bonus, they are open 24 hours.“

“I recently moved to the Bradenton, Florida area and once I found out that there was a Skyline Chili nearby I had to go get me some of that wonderful Cincinnati Chili.It has been at least 8 years since I've walked into a Skyline Chili restaurant. They're pretty much the same since most of them feature memorable of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.The one in Lakewood Ranch looks like the typical modern day version of Skyline Chili(as a kid I would eat at the one downtown Hamilton, Ohio that looked like it was set in the 1940s).Parking: Shared parking in a shopping center.Kid-friendliness: I've been eating Skyline Chili since I was a kid in the early 1980's. So I know kids of all ages would enjoy eating Skyline.“

Service by Brodie (sp) was exceptional. She was there when we needed something as if she had a 6th sense. The food was as good as I’ve had in a while. The mussels had the best broth I can remember. The grouper plicata was an unusual and tasty dish. The espresso martini was excellent. The band. Donnie Bostic, was professional, fun and entertaining. Service was great, personable and fast. Food was served relatively quickly based on how busy they were. I had a blackened Mahi sandwich. It was delicious, but not very blackened (only negative). Bottomless nachos and salsa were delicious as well, chips not very salty which is an added bonus. My wife had the rice bowl with chicken and she enjoyed it. Overall a nice option for a casual dinner with friends. Reasonably priced for the quality ($30 pp incl tip). “Today was a mother daughter day . We came her to peaches to have breakfast. The waitress took our order when she came back with out drinks she spill it all over my mother and it was hot water for her tea. My mother screamed to loud her pants were wet and her leg was burning. “A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“
