“5 starts BUT READ!To be honest the food is amazing, fresh and you can tell it is made with love, BUT portions are not like in the pictures, they serve pretty small portions for mexican food and special for this kind of places, we had to come back and buy some tacos in another little places, they came with a lot of protein and they were just 1$ each, in Mexi-Peru they were 3$ each with just a little bit of carne asada on it. Too bad I didn't take pictures because initially I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after being still hungry and having to come back for more food I think this review could be useful, don't get me wrong excellent taste but portions - price not at all!To be honest, the food is delicious! It is fresh and you can see that they cook with love, BUT the portions for Mexican food and this type of place that is like a fair, were very small, they are not like the photos! After eating we were hungry and had to go back to buy $1 tacos at another stall that were also delicious. “We generally go here for breakfast, but lunch and dinner was a great surprise. The atmosphere is a little weird. Because it's sort of styled like a New York diner with black and white and booths but then they have like these Tiffany lights hanging down which make no sense to me but it's like they just hadn't gotten around a changing them yet. Doesn't change the flavor of the food. I usually get the Mexican omelette for breakfast, which is super spicy and tasty. My daughter got wings which were very meaty and very tasty. My husband got one of the burgers and they had a large selection of burgers and it looked amazing and he said it tasted great. This place is worth the stop to try it out. Bonus, they are open 24 hours.“
“Nice sports bar in Ruskin. Typical type of bar food, burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. What was different is they have a daily special and bigger entrees. There were a lot of people eating the spaghetti and meatballs and it was a big portion and looked good. They also have baskets that comes with two sides. I chose the fried fish nuggets and I was surprised that there was shrimp in the basket to. For my sides I had the cole slaw, and upgraded to the Gouda Mac and cheese. They do offer grilled or blackened as a choice as well. They have a large selection of appetizers to. Prices are typically as other places $10+. They also have a full bar, plenty of tables for larger parties. Definitely easier to get to from Parrish instead of trying to get to Bradenton. It also seems to be a place that older citizens like to go to, there was a bus load from Sun City having dinner when we arrived but out wait time was minimal. This is a place I would go back to.“
“Good food, good service When we walked in, the restaurant was not busy and very quiet. I was a little unsure, but decided to give it a try. It was excellent! I had the yogurt parfait. Not only was the presentation well done, it tasted as good as it looked. My husband also liked their sausage gravy. And, by the time we left, the place was buzzing. I recommend!“

“This store is hit or miss. Okay sometimes but other times not good at all. After multiple visits it appears they have a management problem and high turnover. Additionally the store is looking a little tired and could use a deep cleaning. We find ourselves going to Riverview a lot more many more choices better restaurants.“
