“This place has one of the best atmospheres on the island. Very casual and laid back. Live music is always good. Whatever side of the street you’re on it’s just a good time to be here. Food is average and service at a table can be a bit slow because of how busy it gets. However the bartenders when you’re sitting at the open bar are quick to get you your drink. Highly recommend for a good time.“
“This was a random breakfast spot pick on the map. It looked interesting so we tried it. Well, it did not disappoint. The food was over the top good. And the service was fabulous, even helping us with our next stop on our west coast FL explorations. I can't say enough about the atmosphere, if my wife could rate it she would say it's a 10 out of five. And I would have to agree with her. I also thing you guys will agree unless your one of those people that dosent like sand, sunshine, and good food. Oh, and parking was plentiful in a lot across the street and it was free. Seating was also plentiful and with tons of options. Bathrooms are clean and modern and also unisex. So, if your hungry or thirsty, or looking for a cool place to relax, then go here.“

Being on the water (where we experienced a whole pod of dolphins swimming by our window seat) is just an extra inducement to visiting there.Parking: Limited and hard to get in and out of, if you go too far and haven't found a spot, you are forced to back yourself all the way out because there is no turnaround.“

However, the service staff, in particular our server was beyond terrible. A foul attitude and no professional server skills whatsoever. From the fact that she never asked my wife and I if we wanted another drink, to not giving us a kids menu even though we came with our 18 month old.The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront walkway and so my wife and I went to take pictures. Instead of understanding that this is common for guests to do, our server thought we were leaving entirely and chased us down. Why don’t toy worry if we have enough to drink or are ordering dessert instead of thinking we were just leaving.To the management, you need to address a cancer to your business with servers like this. Just terrible and if we’re do go back I worked refuse to be served by this amateur with a terrible attitude and no ability to understand what professional hospitality means.“

Arriving around 10 o'clock results in about a half hour wait that's a guesstimate there's six on the waitlist right now. But it moves quickly. “We love the peanut butter pie. Our favourite. Be good to offer one with oreo crust. Next best is the orange cake. It is awesome! The chocolate is also awesome and so is the strawberry. However the lemon is flavourless. Customer service could improve...the young girl serving us was always in a hurry, and one time refused to accommodate us with orange cake slices even though there were orange cakes in the fridge that could have been sliced up. It was 2 in the afternoon, so still a lot of time to sell more orange cake slices the rest of the day. A big however.....coffee is Kureg but u r charged barista pricing!!! Signifying this would b upfront as I find it deceiving and a rip off.“

My husband and I usually sit at the bar and no matter how busy they get our service has always been superb! Food is delicious, and great selection of beer. Definitely do the garlic cheese curds! I like the burgers and Jaxx chicken sandwich as well. Reasonably priced for quality of food. I would prefer a leaf of lettuce rather than shredded but that is just my personal preference.Parking: depending on time of day or night parking can be a challenge but for the most part we always get a spot.Kid-friendliness: a few games for kids and it is loud so no worries bringing the kiddos“

The grouper plicata was an unusual and tasty dish. The espresso martini was excellent. The band. Donnie Bostic, was professional, fun and entertaining. “A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“

I dropped one star because we actually went the day before and there was some sort of building issue but we never got a notice that they were closing so we just had to leave when we got there. I went for the grouper sandwich which was perfectly fried. But it was a bit too much bread for the thickness of the grouper. Also, the grouper itself wasn't seasoned enough nor was the coleslaw. But my husband got the fries and they were delightful.Parking: You can park along the sides or on the grass in the center. But you can also park right outside the lot for free on the street.“

After the manager called 911 for us, she helped with the 9 month old baby in our party while I helped my mother. She stuck with us until the ambulance arrived. “We went in early December on a weeknight, we made a reservation, it turned out. It wasn’t really that busy, about half full perhaps. We were seated immediately at an intimate table near the window in the far room room. Very quaint dining room. Formal. Our waiter was very attentive. We got a bottle of wine. It was a small kitchen out in the dining room, where they would prepare Caesar salad and some flambé dishes. My wife’s cousin recommended this place, the duck was highly recommended, I had it, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we went upstairs to the separate dessert room and got a great presentation on the desserts that they had that night. I had the Keylime pie. It was delicious. A little Baileys on the rocks has a nightcap.“
