“Got the chicken Caesar wrap on our last visit to Gulfport as I had seen it online somewhere. It was the best I have ever had. We split it and it was plenty. Definitely going back there again!“

But do not worry, dear reviewer, though we are biased, we are honest.

Parking: Despite the limited parking, we happened to get a front row “princess parking” spot right in front of the building. If you don’t get as lucky as we are, there is more parking around the corner if you are willing to walk.

Atmosphere: the vibes are immaculate, as any cozy pub can be! Even more so because O’Maddy’s has big, open-air seating that looks right out onto the bay. As a girl from Oregon seeing a REAL beach (one that isn’t wild, freezing, and liable to kill you), I found it soothing to see the tropic, warm water. This evening, the Australia vs. US soccer game was on (the US won 2-0), and it would have been an amazing game to watch, but we just so happened to be seated at one of the only tables without access to a television. (This can be forgiven, though, since they were able to seat a party of 8 with no wait time.)

Food: the nephew gives his bun only to his hot dog 5/5 stars. He tried giving a thumbs up, but we are still learning that skill. Overall, the party was happy with their food. We unanimously agreed that the French fries are top tier, and all French fries need to taste and look like the ones from O’Maddys’. It’s not just greasy pub fare!

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“Had lunch there today. Food was excellent and more than I could eat. Service was fast and friendly. They had a turkey, dressing. mashed potatoes, and corn lunch plate that also came with soup or salad for $10.95. Literally enough food for two meals. I brought half of it home for later. “What a Gem! Small and intimate, everything executed perfectly. The vibe, the drinks, and the food all fantastic. Our favorite dish was oyster mushrooms on a bed of greens on toast incredibly flavorful but they change the menu soon so I don't think it's going to be there much longer. Also enjoyed the salmon and tuna crudite. Bartenders were very friendly, perfectly attentive, and professional.“

“Not really a place to sit in, but the food was great, and the customer service was great as well. The oxtails were falling off the bone and they gave me a good portion With two sides for only $21. I will definitely be returning because this is one of the best places I’ve had oxtails and by far the cheapest. Love that they aren’t stingy on the portions. Also they had a small bar & pool table. Looks like a local juke joint type of place.“

“Honestly not what I was expecting, but loved it nonetheless. We were waiting for a show to start and were looking for places to grab a bite a drinks prior. Looked on the map and found this little hidden gem. You walk in and order at the counter, grab a drink and pay. Definitely a locals place but I loved every minute of it. Live music was a plus. “This place is beautiful! I was worried this spot wouldn't be able to recover after that horrible hurricane season, but the inside and outside look gorgeous. We had Jen as our server and she was on point, knowledgeable, and fun. The food is delicious. We especially loved the bone in ribeye and seafood tower. Loved the pink flamingo cocktail and their wine selection is very smart too. Have to try the fluffy mai tai next time because the guava foam looks delicious. We will be back!“
