Starter was beef tips, which we really enjoyed. Greek salad was next and for our main courses my husband had the steak and I had the pork loin with raspberry demiglace. A perfect evening and we will definitely return.“

“Loving our stay here in a spacious suite. I have slept better here than I have in years! We had dinner out in the courtyard. The redfish was locally sourced and delicious. The soft shell crab was very good according to my friend. It’s a quirky place to stay, but very well run. Love the breakfast delivered in the morning.“

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“This small gem is one of the most amazing experiences we've had in a long time, despite being in NYC and Europe.
Slim Charmer is intimate, lighting is subdued, seating is far enough apart for intimate moments and their drinks are unique. Their menu is small but each dish was perfectly prepared and complex. Their chefs are inspired and creative. Reservations are definitely required, it's a small space. Highly recommend.“

“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!“
