Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar!
The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good.

Allelo offers outstanding quality food in an excellent ambiance, perfect for special occasions despite being expensive. The menu favorites include Greek salad, rock shrimp, Boz Bavette Steak, and Baklava cheesecake. The service aims to meet special requests, and the location by the bay provides a beautiful view of the water with convenient parking across the street. The wine selection is great, but desserts are considered average. Allelo is a great choice for a special dining experience, with the scallops, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and overall flawless food and service receiving high praise from customers. The chic ambiance and warm, stylish atmosphere add to the exceptional dining experience. The restaurant has a chicche vibe, view of the water and a yummy brunch menu. It’s a Mediterranean-European fusion. Customers enjoyed the Shakshouka and Turkish Deviled Eggs for brunch. The shrimp appetizer, gambas Al ajillo, was the best app ever tasted, and the octopus with pressed watermelon was divine. Homemade pasta dishes, the lamb Ragu with radiatori pasta, was exceptional, as was the seafood linguine with shrimp and clams, delicious. The Allelo candy bar for dessert is stellar. The beef tartare and octopus were exceptional. The cheesecake is highly recommended. The whole zone is very nice. The dining experience is a masterclass in hospitality, with minute details perfectly planned and executed.
