This is our second restaurant on Beach Dr NE, after Parkshore Grill.Definitely will return: it’s better than Parkshore Grill next door.We came here before the opera Turandot. It has a sizable outdoor section that looks out to Tampa Bay, with sofas and regular tables. The indoor decor is tasteful, dominates by a big mural, which was done by artist Annette Gloomis (?). High ceiling, with three exposed fat pipes. Fresh flowers on the tables, handbag hooks under the tables.Allelo is short for Allelomimetic -> allelomimetic behavior.Stems, tableware and utensils are all really good: especially they use smaller spoons for desserts – thank you!We’ve 4 glasses 2021 red from three countries:Portuguese Touriga Nacional Herdade do Rocim: smooth, the best of the threeFrench Syrah Domaine Faillenc St Marie Corbières: okSpanish Garnacha Camino de Navaherrero Bernabeleva: too dryThe asparagus (sunflower, aleppo, pecorino butter) is yummy. The sauce is light and lively. Too bad we weren’t hungry after the big lunch at Terra Gaucha.We’re able, however, to squeeze in a piece of tiramisu – it’s to die for, with prominent dark rum taste; and I love the coarse texture – I don’t like my food being massaged too much. The cake is made in the house.I like the wall paper in their bathroom too -:)

I would have never come to this restaurant if our son had not given us a gift certificate. Being culinary challenged, I expected that I would order a grilled cheese sandwich. Instead, we had one of the most most wonderful meals we have ever had. Being in a particular age bracket (STOP LAUGHING), we have eaten in restaurants in many parts of this world. This one ranks among the top five if not near the top. We had the Sunday buffet which was served in stages with just the right amount of food with each dish being superb. The staff was knowledgeable,professional, friendly and the service could not have been any better. And, I ate everything. My wife is still in shock. But the best thing was that we went thru several courses and I actually left without staining any of my clothing.Bottom line: GO !!!!

Brunch was awesome, family style had lots of tasty food. Not a big pancake person but these were tastyParking: Some street parking 2 hour limit, parking ramps about 2 blocks away. Busy on weekends come around 10:30 for parking
We had a fantastic experience here on 3/23/24. The GM and server did an amazing job handling our party of 16 on the fly for brunch. The cocktails are amazing and the food was delicious. If you get a chance, make sure to go for dinner and try the steak tartare…it was better than Paris…absolutely recommend. We will be back!

We had a large table, "RESERVED FOR 9" people. The Hostesses were nice to greet us, but couldn't let us sit down unless there were at least 5 guests present. The ATMOSPHERE is Alive with an impressive bar and bartender. You can see the amount of people enjoying even their monday night out on the town. The MENU has quite a few pages spread out, and they make sure you have a large choice of WINES beverages to begin with. The FOOD, we decided to have a SEAFOOD TOWER and a CHARCUTERIE (Meat Sampler) for the table. Good Choice! I Opted for 3 appetizers for my Dinner, OCTOPUS, which seemed a bit dry, but crunchy good, BEEF TARTARE, this is a SHOW PLEASER, a table presentation, which everyone enjoyed the show. Though I would've added a bit more of a flavor kicker, a squeeze of lemon or something zesty, and CRUSHED POTATOES, which is quite filling. Though I asked to serve this as a dinner for me, it was all brought out as an appetizer. This is a FUN PLACE TO GO OUT TO! A bit noisy at the bar, but the atmosphere is there. The waiters are very friendly and always busy, We were a large party, and spent over $!00/ per person. There's always room for improvement with service which lacked, but above all, everyone at our table enjoyed the night out. I'll definitely come out here out for a date night.

The ambiance is enhanced by the restaurant's beautiful interior, creating a welcoming and elegant atmosphere.We started with so fresh and flavorful East and West Coast oysters, followed by tender octopus and perfectly seasoned beef tartare with olive oil. Meza and mussels too, everything was great. I Would recommend everything!! The pasta cacio e pepe was so good, and Lamb bolognese too.Although the pork chop was enjoyable, the steak was slightly chewy. However, it was evident that the chefs put thought into every aspect of the meal, from presentation to taste.Complementing our meal was a selection of nice wines, adding to the overall dining experience.Overall, I highly recommend Allelo to anyone seeking a taste of the Mediterranean in a beautiful setting.
Loved everything about this restaurant! Food was comparable to the Michelin-starred restaurants that I’ve dined at in the past. The cauliflower and branzino were our favorites!

I was beyond excited to try this place but unfortunately it was mediocre! The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous — you can tell the owners or their design team has incredible attention to detail. With that being said, it seems like they’re banking on the ambiance to get people to come back. I went with 2 friends and all of us got 3 separate meals, the lamb bolognese, the Cacio E Pepe, and the half chicken. It was all very mediocre. The food just did not live up to the hype and ambience. I will definitely say that the Charcuterie Board was EXCELLENT!! Service was amazing. And like I said, ambience is STUNNING. I would love to see a place like this have the rare mix between excellent ambiance and even better food. I still do plan to try this restaurant again in a few months.

Omg, JUST WOOW . First time ever visiting Downtown St Petersburg and I am blown away so much to do. Sunday brunch we visit this restaurant and from the staff to the food it was fenomenal. Since it was a beautiful day we requested to be seated outside w the live music and they gave us the table right away and they even readjusted the umbrella for better shade. The menu for brunch was pretty simple, we order the Pancakes and French toast. The pancakes were so delightful. They were soft and so tasteful, best pancakes I ever had in my life. The French toast was sticks, but they were so crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Also, the pineapple mimosa was not your typical mimosa highly recommend. For the dog lovers you can bring ur furr baby to the patio
