“we had half their menu! And nothing was less than spectacular! our server was so outstanding! I would drive the two hrs from Winter Garden just for the scallops! Definitely recommend this place to everyone! Fair warning the salad is HUGE!“
“The zingers were amazing! We had the prickly pear margarita which was great and our server Eric was super cool. He was attentive but not annoying or pushy. The dessert we got wasn’t that great but everything else about the experience made up for it.“
“All I can say is wow!Great atmosphere, our server was friendly and attentive, and the FOOD was probably the best I’ve had in St. Pete and Ive lived here 31 years... I got the Ribeye with goat cheese on top and the jumbo shrimp on the side. Steak was cooked perfectly(in butter not seed oils), presentation was beautiful, and the shrimp were delicious!I have been meaning to check this place out since they opened due to the grass fed steaks and I am kicking myself for not going sooner!Possibly the best restaurant in St. Pete or the Tampa Bay Area for carnivores and vegans alike.Incredible!!“
“Wow. Fords Garage of St. Pete’s is truly on another level! The hospitality, service, atmosphere, and food were all top notch! Tracey, the manager was just the nicest soul!! She made us feel like family!! Truly amazing!! Would highly recommend visiting!!“
“The food is amazing! All the reviews were spot on. The service was fast and so hospitable. Joe the owner spent time out of his day to chat with us too. Will definitely be coming back!Kid-friendliness: They had an outdoor area with kid stuff to play with“
“Food was great. I have to try the beer still..(was picking up lunch for the crew @ Duncan McClellan Gallery)But Amelia's service definitely stole the show. I went here specifically for the vegan gluten free option for a co-worker...& when her order machine said it was not in stock she went to the back any figured it out for me. (The item was just showing 86'd although a new order had come in)She's a Rockstar! Give her a raise!“
“What I can say about $5.50 beers and $6 loaded tots on Wednesday. And they have trivia night. This place is amazing and the servicers were knowable and attentive. Definitely going to here a lot and try a burger. Cool mix of people in a mind blowing setting with the cleanest beer lines in the Burg. They had my fav New Hampshire IPA on tap. Score.Parking: Spots were all taken before 5 but there was plenty of spots around the lake.“
“Great food, great service. But the whole vibe comes off as a diner. Bear tables scattered around and uninspired room. However on a quiet traffic day sitting outside is a good option. I had the spicy Mexican chicken sandwich with fries. My friend had the French toast fingers with fruit. Both dishes were excellent! This service was spot on. This only loses a star because of the sterile atmosphere.“
“Our server Leti was amazing... very knowledgeable... your berry crepes were the best... she sold them as we asked how they were... oh and your SigHotSauce is kicking.... when we travel we only do MOM&POP .... EggHaven is on top of our list ?“
“This is our second restaurant on Beach Dr NE, after Parkshore Grill.Definitely will return: it’s better than Parkshore Grill next door.We came here before the opera Turandot. It has a sizable outdoor section that looks out to Tampa Bay, with sofas and regular tables. The indoor decor is tasteful, dominates by a big mural, which was done by artist Annette Gloomis (?). High ceiling, with three exposed fat pipes. Fresh flowers on the tables, handbag hooks under the tables.Allelo is short for Allelomimetic -> allelomimetic behavior.Stems, tableware and utensils are all really good: especially they use smaller spoons for desserts – thank you! We’ve 4 glasses 2021 red from three countries:Portuguese Touriga Nacional Herdade do Rocim: smooth, the best of the threeFrench Syrah Domaine Faillenc St Marie Corbières: okSpanish Garnacha Camino de Navaherrero Bernabeleva: too dryThe asparagus (sunflower, aleppo, pecorino butter) is yummy. The sauce is light and lively. Too bad we weren’t hungry after the big lunch at Terra Gaucha. We’re able, however, to squeeze in a piece of tiramisu – it’s to die for, with prominent dark rum taste; and I love the coarse texture – I don’t like my food being massaged too much. The cake is made in the house.I like the wall paper in their bathroom too -:)“
“We like to sit at the bar, so I can't speak for the whole restaurant experience, but at the bar you have your own bar tender, the drinks are creative and unlike anything you get anywhere else. The food comes out quickly, is picture perfect and delicious. The bar stools are extremely comfortable. Definitely fun to try the flight! Ambiance is great, very popular, make a reservation in advance!Kid-friendliness: I didn't see any kids, leave them at home with a pizza“
“Was very excited to have found this place. Great tasting, extremely fresh, good portion sizes, nice staff, good indoor or outdoor seating options.Would be a great place to come before having a night out at the bars if you don’t want to have a sit down dinner but want something hot and fresh, close to everything.“
“A favorite local neighborhood spot to end the night after hanging in the St Pete area. Sports on the TVs, good music on the jukebox, and a fun laid back vibe. Decent bar food and friendly service. Always end up staying later than I planned. :)“
“Absolutely incredible dinner. The service was very welcoming and friendly. The chef was brilliant and talked us through all of the dishes, describing his intentions with the bold and complex flavors of them. This place has a truly unique intimate dining experience you won’t find anywhere else in St. Pete.“
“Love the seating on the balcony especially for a group of friends. We had a wonderful time there, nice wines, food was surprisingly good, Cervice excellent. Our server Marietta was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with choosing the food and wine. Will be back for “
“Andrew greeted us on arrival and Charlotte did a fabulous job serving us. We had the turkey avocado melt and cheeseburger. Both were very good! As a bonus it was Free Pie Wednesday! So we took a couple slices of pie to go. Will definitely visit again. Five Stars!“
“Definitely check this place out. I pass it all the time and it always seems busy, but now I know why. The waiter talked me into the country fried steak, and what a recommendation it was. Solid food, solid service, definitely will be back for another meal.“
“The staff were on point and attentive, and the food was spot on, and delicious! My burger was cooked medium rare, exactly like I ordered, and without the bun and extra lettuce! Every detail was perfect for our busy party of 10! I’ll definitely be back!“
“Outdoor seating in open or under large tiki Pavillion along a waterway and marina. Servers are friendly and helpful. Mahi tacos are the best I have had outside the keys. Limited menu so everything is made wit care.Parking: Many people ride bikes or walk. Parking is limited but we have never had a problem. Worst case there is parking along the road outside the gate a short walk away.Kid-friendliness: Nice view of water and wild life. All the kids I have seen seem to enjoy the food and relaxed lunch time atmoshete.Wheelchair accessibility: At lunch would be the best time to scope out low table seating and get a feel for maneuvering. Small friendly and yummy spot.“
“Recently had them cater a Celebration of Life. They went above and beyond to exceed expectations! The commitment and communication was tops! With several moving parts and being right after Thanksgiving, they worked hard to ensure every ask was accommodated! Highly Recommended!!!!“
“Great, consistently wonderful food, drinks, and desserts. Prices are fair ($16-$21 for the entrees I’ve ordered). As a vegetarian, there are multiple options, such as beyond burgers, bucatini pasta, salads, and a portobello entree. The cocktails are a personal favorite, especially their seasonal ones. I usually get seated and served quickly without a reservation, at least during early evening and lunchtime.“
“Can't believe how large the portions are for the price. I only had a few modellos, but my girlfriend had two mixed drinks including the hard rootbeer, which is her favorite by far. We definitely adding this to our favorite place list. Wait staff is quick and very friendly.“
“After deciding not to cook for my Wife bday, I decided to order food here...seen it thousands of times, first time ordering...The Staff is amazing...Tina and David were awesome, very friendly and professional....and the food was to die for...I only had appetizers, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Bacon wrapped shrimp, basil meatballs, gouda spinach dip and the spring salad...everything was exquisite, fresh and so delicious...and can't beat that southern flavors...I can't wait to try all their other dishes. Highly recommend Bayou.“
“Great music! Food is also great. Kayla is awesome and Service is awesome. Atmosphere, great! We’re vegetarian so we don’t eat much but drinks and food (mashed potatoes and broccoli) are delicious.Parking: Semi big plaza lot, so plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: There are many seats available to the left side when you come in.“
“Love the option of sitting on the outside patio, however we seemed to be an after thought tonight. We arrived at 7 and didn't get food until 830. Prime rib was cold, shrimp was microwaved and ribeye was cold as well. My fajitas were hot, but only knew it cause of the sizzle.Food is consistently good and the price is right where it should be.Service was fine but very slow. Price you pay for wanting to sit outside I guess.“
“They seated us happily within an hour of closing! Treated us so kindly and everything was so good. I'm glad we decided to come in- an psychotic woman was screaming for us not to calling the place terrible names- she was absolutely wrong! Will be returning once I come back to Florida.“
“New regular customer, great pizza dough, thin strong and crispy. Tried the reg cheese pizza by the slice and a whole 18 inch white with sliced sausage and calamata olives! Asked for well done and it was perfection ! Got an extra Italian sub for tomorrow 5 “
“My wife hosted a meetup group here which was attended by 6 people. This was our first time there, as well as for most of the party. The food was amazing, and ther service was above expectations. we had seen it passing by, as we just recently moved to the area, and are both so glad we hosted the meetup here, and will definitely be returning.“
“Wonderfully whimsical artwork from countless artists! Jewelry, ocarinas, tea sets, cutting boards, cups, bowls, trays and sculpture all showcased in a beautifully preserved craftsman style bungalow.Highly recommend!! The next time you're in Grand Central make a point to stop in to the Craftsman House!“
“Food was good, nice portions, decent prices. Brandon was the host and our server. He was very attentive and checked with us throughout the meal. It is a sports bar with lots of TVs, we were there on a rainy day and early for the dinner crowd so there was plenty of seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Location in in a strip mall type building and you have to go through the outdoor mall to get there. The restaurant is higher than the deck, so don't go down the ramp.“
“On December 6, 2023, the SPYC hosted the annual SILVER BELLS fundraiser Gala for the St Petersburg Opera Guild. They have hosted in the past and it's always been a great event. This year, the SP Opera Guild and the SP Yacht Club created a SPECTACULAR event. Shannon Nylander from the Catering department was an amazing ally. She worked with the committee on every detail. She quickly returned calls and emails and answered every question with friendliness and professionalism. She was incredibly accommodating with the Guild's somewhat unorthodox requests. She knew the details from our past events at the Yacht Club and was able to provide a unique perspective based on previous years. The Banquet Manger, Michael Gaisford, oversaw the event and was another great asset to guide our team. The food was delicious, and the presentation was very nice. The valet staff to the wait staff to the front desk 'ambassador' were all friendly and helpful. Truly a great experience. If you are a member or have a liaison at the SPYC, plan your event with them. I would strongly recommend it! Thank you all again.“
“Had the Mediterranean chicken on a gluten-free spinach wrap & then a Kale/Spinach smoothie and both were excellent! The people who run the place were very nice & helpful with all my questions.Dietary restrictions: They have several gluten-free options available & very accommodating“
“I believe Toriano’s is a wonderful place to stop and grab something to eat! I really recommend that everyone should try their daily specials and of course their regular menu! Regardless everything is pretty good!!! I also heard they started doing breakfast again every Saturday and it’s pretty good, breakfast is amazing!“
“It is just a warm friendly place to sit down and relax. The three of us had an awesome meal and our waitress was quick and on top of everything. Friendly smiling a lot. Just like sitting down to a home cooked meal. Ready to go back ❤️❤️❤️“
“Hi there! Im Sunni and Im 10 years old if you see the name kenneth, thats just my dad! But heres the review! So if you like fish get those tacos! Ive also had this restaurant many times and its always delicious! “Went to The Salty Nun on this Friday with a couple of friends and was NOT disappointed. The day was beautiful so, we snagged a seat outside in the shade and I got to sit in 1 of the swings under an awning. We had Hangover Burgers and a Mahi-Mahi Sammich (I don't remember the official name of that one, sorry). First, we thought these would be 2 smaller burgers. They were not. It was 2 patties on 1 burger bun and it was FANTASTIC. The star of the show though was those FRIES. I don't know how y'all get them that shape but, I don't even care. They are too good! We also had the Fried Green Tomatoes as an app and they were delicious. The aioli was perfect for them but, I preferred them just the way that they were made. The waitress was friendly and kept us happy. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name but, she had dark hair and may have been pregnant? I think I heard it in passing conversation, I'm not guessing based on looks. We waddled out of there already plotting to come back for more good eats in this great atmosphere. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly and we saw lots of doggos!“
“Went for breakfast. Was originally worried because we were only people. But after being greeted warmly, we realized it may be because we are old and early risers. Marlie, our server, was so sweet! Made us feel so welcome. Hubby had Lumberjack which was prepared exactly how he ordered (he is particular about his eggs and toast). I had the Cubano breakfast. Yum yum yum. Mimosas to top off the meal and we left very happy. Thanks Marlie and Datz!“
“I love this place. I've been frequenting longhorn for years. I noticed a manager there who was diligently running food, picking up dishes, talking to customers and moving around at warp speed! He was awesome. His name is Josh! I wanted to let him know the Conch Republic needs a guy like him! Ask for Dan Brekke. Tell them Scott K. sent you :)“
“I absolutely love fresh kitchen. It is clean, fresh and delicious any opportunity I get a run over and grab me some deliciousness. The steak is outstanding for you meat lovers out there and I love the sweet potato noodles and kale salad.Parking: Plenty of parking space plus the line moves pretty quickly so you’re in and out“
“We regularly got the meal plan for months. Most of the food was pretty good. it does save time. I don't recommend because they do not provide good macros for the meal plan. I needed to be able to calculate weight watchers points, the owner told me that they would provide me with the macros I needed, the employee who was supposed to get them for me did not because it was too "time intensive". If this is to be part of a health plan, shouldn't I be able to know what I am eating?“
“local dive bar carports pool tables all your regular shots liquor some lines most years that you could possibly want. a very local crowd a little bit older 55 average age but they do have several nights where they get college age clientele all at all decent place to go and wet your whistle“
“Great place for breakfast. I had the French toast and my wife had the elevated egg sandwich. Large portions and very good tasting. Coffee comes by the carafe snd is bottomless! The staff were kind, courteous and prompt. The place was clean. We sat outside and normally I would say it was good but compared to other restaurants of St Pete it’s hard to say this was a great atmosphere due to the busy 4th street and noise. My advice would be to create a barrier between the railing and the sidewalk.“
“Here we are, walking thru St Petersburg and stopping in every store just to browse. I have to admit, I do enjoy browsing. Well browsing makes me thirsty. We pass an open bar with at least 20 beer taps. It's beer o'clock and time to hop into Hops 2.0.The ladies ordered some food from the bar and snagged a table. I ordered a pint and head towards the game room / ping pong table. While the ladies are waiting for the food, my brother in law are playing ping pong and talking about Netflix. Good vibes indeed. Hops 2.0 (what's with the weird name?) is a large spot. The bar can hold about 25 chairs, inside there are plenty of tables with TVs playing on the walls. Is that a stage in the corner? There are also tables outside, lots of space to chill and drink a cold one. It's early in the afternoon, there's no live music or things happening at Hops 2.0. That's ok because all I need is a cold brew and some tasty waves. The homemade Arepas arrive, a little spicy but well worth it, they were very good. The Cuban Sandwich? They got it down, lots of juicy pork and pickles. We cut up the sandwich and shared. Thumbs up highHops 2.0, it was a pleasure to drink a cold one at your bar.“
“We had some friends visiting over the weekend and we decided to take them to this establishment as it’s a fun environment along with the pier. We decided to try their brunch menu and we were very pleased with our meal. The view is great and it definitely makes the restaurant experience even better. I’m okay with the 20% tip charge as most people who complain about it aren’t going to tip well. Keep in mind they literally have a pamphlet explaining that they provide health benefits to their staff due to this type of service charge.“
“A must-dine when in St Pete! Superb, thoughtfully-created dishes that will delight the most discerning foodies. Great cocktails (try the Goddess if you’re looking for something refreshing, and they have the BEST espresso martini). Favs include the mussels with the grilled bread for dipping, the truly unique Mac & Cheese, and any of the salads. Honestly everything is great.“
