“I have been a vegetarian since approximately 1968. It was not easy to eat out nor at other peoples houses without the constant questioning, “what’s in this?” Any meat in this? Over the years, it was more acceptable and I could find one or two dishes in every menu. Certainly there are more dishes and restaurants now. But I have been hesitant with many because I don’t want to eat something made from tofu or seitan and call it a burger or meat dish. So, I highly recommend that you eat at House of Vegano with fresh food, creative and incredible tastes, amazing choices and friendly staff that makes you feel like you are home. We are definitely coming back …with more friends!“

“Great restaurant!! Visiting Florida from Texas, came across this restaurant after the beach. Food is amazing. Never tried tandoori mushroom…as a vegetarian I’ve had tandoori FOMO. Loved IT!! Stir fry noodles also SO SO good. Great mix of info-Chinese flavors. Service was great and food came out pretty fast. 10/10 recommend :)“

Got the miso soup 10/10, the Naruto roll I believe, it has no ice and was delicious and healthy 10/10 and the fried calamari. I wasn't too happy Abt it since it looks kinda raw in some areas of the octopus? I didn't know if I could eat it and mostly ate the tentacles“

“This afternoon I joined 22 friends for High Tea at Jack's. The food was better than the High Teas I had in England. Perhaps this is due to them making everything in house: fresh baked bread for the finger sandwiches, puff pastries with cream and jam, rum spiked fruit cake...all delicious. “Lunch at St Pete Oak and Stone was hands-down, one of the best experiences we have had while visiting St. Pete. It was all because of the exceptional service by our server, Peyton. Thank you, Peyton! Also, kudos to the manager, Stu! They both teamed up to make our afternoon the absolute best! Payton was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests from the very moment we sat down. She recommended the popsicle drinks from the Summertime Cocktails menu, and we decided on the Midnight Sun and Blue Crush. Both were amazing and refreshing for a hot and muggy day. We never would’ve tried them without her recommendation and we are so glad we did!

The food was also top-notch. The wings were the best we’ve ever had. We were pleased that Stu, the manager, personally delivered the food to us. He was so personable and engaging and spend a few minutes chatting with us like we were old friends. It’s not too common anymore to see a manager so involved and genuine with guests and his hospitality made our experience feel truly special.

From the outstanding service to the delicious food and drinks, every part of our visit exceeded our expectations. Peyton and Stu have clearly mastered what first-class service and hospitality should look like we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making our afternoon absolutely perfect!“

“Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.“

“Family of 5 visited on a rainy Wednesday evening, on 7/1. Restaurant was plenty busy. Was greeted by Karen Vanessa explaining, with a smile, that service may take a while. We weren't in any rush. Ordered some AMAZING margaritas, ordered our food and just a little while later it all came out. While The server (Karen) was SO busy with other larger parties and a few smaller parties, she kept smiling and kept all of us happy. The food (mine was an Al Pastor wet burrito) was simply AMAZING! Other family members got the Birria tacos and fajitas. All the food was wonderful and service was even better. Totally recommend!“

“Great Breakfast Finally! A place where all parts of the breakfast were great. The eggs were right. The ham was thick and well seared. The grits, almost impossible to find good ones in Pinellas County, were perfect—not gummy, not watery, not bland. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is busy and lively and mostly clean (bathrooms could stand an updating.) Prices were fair. I will gladly return.“

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

Wow best I’ve had in years, so glad we gave another place a chance cause all has been falling short. This will be our new go to. Best gyoza we’ve had and the broth to the beef pho was unlike anything we’ve ever had..amazing flavor! Love the Singapore noodles as well! Finally!! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to dine in there.“

“We dined at the Colony Grill last Sunday 1/4/26. We had ordered takeout and sat outside. I only went went in to use the restroom. After we left and went out to a couple of other places, I realized I did not have my purse. We backtracked to all the places we had been in Saint Pete that day, about five different places. But for some reason, we did not go back to the colony Grill. I never found my purse. I was devastated. I had a lot of valuable items in it and figured someone had decided it was too enticing and kept it. But Tuesday morning when I was at home, I received a box from FedEx addressed to my brother, whose ID I had in my purse. Someone had taken the time and money out of their own wallet to send my purse back to me fully intact down to the last penny! I am so very thankful I tried calling the restaurant to find out who had done the good deed, but was just met with an automated service. If someone in the restaurant reads this review, please reach out to me. I would like to give a proper thank you to the person that really made my day and set a great tone for the new year!“

“This is our favorite spot to visit yearly and can’t wait to enjoy the cleanliness of the restaurant, the deliciousness of the food especially the fish tacos and out of this world coleslaw! The vibe is amazing especially with the live entertainment! The staff is spot on and earns a 10 star review if possible!
