“This place is amazing!! It's in a very nice area in downtown st. pete and the restaurant itself is so cute! I got the mango refresher and it was such a good choice, it was delicious. This is a fun place to check out with a friend or two to get some yummy food!“

“I enjoyed my dinner experience at Ichiban Izakaya restaurant. This hidden gem is located nearby to downtown St. Pete.

The sashimi was very fresh and sushi rolls were delicious. My favorite was the sweet shrimp nigiri.

There’s interior dining and I love the Japanese themed decor. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Seated immediately in half empty restaurant. staff standing around by front door. reviewing menu, 10 minutes later, another couple comes in and gets seated and order taken within a couple of minutes while we were being totally ignored. no idea who is waiting on us, nobody came by..no drink request. waited a few minutes more, couple gets food? you aren't busy, plenty of staff.. no excuse. last time we were there waitress not friendly and dismissive...so not first bad experience... we left, we won't we back. such a shame since we are regulars, and I usually recommend people go there.“
