Edward at Sundrop was absolutely fantastic. I’m traveling solo and he made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun from the minute I sat down. Great personality, attentive, and his drink recommendations were dead-on. The cocktail was excellent, and the flaming lime was a pretty badass touch. 🔥
SUNDROP is a new restaurant inside the Luce hotel, and it delivered exactly what we were looking for: modern, relaxed, healthy-ish, and reasonably priced. Bonus: free parking for diners.

Food was great and the atmosphere was super fun. But the service was terrible. We sat at the bar and they were completely understaffed the entire evening. Too bad really. There was another guy there who said it has been slow breakfast lunch and dinner. (They are staying on property ) It’s a gem of a restaurant other than that.

SUNDROP is a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous inside and outside. The food is delicious, with a great variety of options, and the presentation is excellent. Standout dishes include the bone in ribeye, seafood tower, steak, oysters, smash burger on a gluten-free bun, filet mignon with blue crab croquettes, and the shrimp and pork belly dish. The drinks are also a highlight, with innovative and exciting cocktails like the pink flamingo and fluffy mai tai, as well as smart wine selection.
Service is outstanding, with staff described as on point, knowledgeable, fun, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Managers are also noted for being welcoming and ensuring guests are well taken care of. This new restaurant at The Luce hotel offers an elevated experience, perfect for a casual meal close to the beach. Guests are eager to return and recommend SUNDROP for its exceptional food, drinks, and service.
