The Blu Halo St Pete Reviews
Food was tasty. Servers were friendly.
First visit and we went for the before 6:30 priix fixe meal for 2, 1 appetizer, 2 salads/soup, 2 entrees, shared dessert, each course was creative and delicious. The ambiance was trendy and upscale, the live music was good too. Tyler was our waiter and he was cheerful, accommodating and gave us excellent advice for the different choices for our meal. The Blu Halo St Pete offers a trendy and upscale dining experience with live music. Guests have enjoyed the before 6:30 prix fixe meal for 2, which includes an appetizer, salads or soup, two entrees, and a shared dessert. The beef tips starter, Greek salad, steak, and pork loin with raspberry demiglace were creative and delicious, and the potatoes were addicting. The beignets with chocolate and carmel sauce were killer. The Blu for Two special is an incredible deal, and the Cajun Chicken Pasta was phenomenal with a homemade sauce. The chicken lollipops were juicy, tender and delicious, and the butcher's cut, a bone-in, 45-day dry aged New York strip, and the ribeye with three cheese smashed potatoes were spot on. The menu is simple and elegant, the service is impeccable and attentive, and the drinks are yummy. The location, parking, atmosphere, service, and even the clean bathrooms were exceptional. A little costly but definitely worth it. However, the piano player can be too loud for the size of the venue, which may ruin the atmosphere at the bar.
