“Finally checked this place out for an afternoon snack! The rooftop bar is great - being able to see across the bay with a drink in hand is fantastic.
Their fish spread is tasty and their wings are meaty (with plenty of lemon pepper!). I think their wings could be crispier, I had a few with some chewy skin spots, but they’re smoked, so crispier is hard to do. Wouldn’t keep me from getting them again, though!”

“Wow what a fantastic place. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and have a fantastic knowledge on the varies craft beers and IPA's. Planned on only staying for an hour or two but with the wonderful band playing, I ended up staying till close. Visited the North End Taphouse every night during my vacation.”

“Should Have Been 5 Stars, But… The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the servers are pleasant and helpful. We started with the Red Sangria which was really good. For an appetizer we shared the delicious Drunken Shrimp. It came with nicely crusted Cuban bread for sopping up the wonderful sauce. As a bread lover, I also enjoyed the complimentary Cuban bread that comes for the table. For entrees we had the Lechon Asado, a little dry but the accompanying sauce on the side was perfect. We also had the Summer Dill Chicken. The bird was a bit tough but the sauce was excellent. Accompanying the entrees was some OK white rice (yellow would have been nicer) and excellent plantains with perfectly caramelized exteriors. Portions were very large, so we had plenty for another meal at home. Another time I would like to try their flan and Cuban coffee. I would have given Habana Café 5 stars, but I found on the check a 3.5% fee if using a credit card. This didn’t appear anywhere on the menu or on their Facebook site that I could see. And 3.5% is probably about 1% more than the restaurant is paying the credit card company. Raise prices if you need to, but these hidden charges are very annoying.”
