“Apart from the price (more expensive than usual) which is mostly expected because this is a fish restaurant, yes, the quality and taste of the food are of high quality. Recommending this place accordingly. Inside is quite ok, not ground breaking but very fine. Would have been sitting preferably outside but chilly exceptionally when we ate there.No misunderstanding: do not except cheap prices but this is a Go and we will eat there again.Note: staff is young and cool / doing a very good job too.”

“The Campground, here at Fort DeSoto has to be one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Lush palm trees abound, giving the ample RV sites, really cool privacy. We have good water pressure and 50Amp electric.It's a sandy spot, and backing in around the trees, requires a little skill, but very worth while.”

“Stayed here for about a week and tried this place twice. Crab cakes were some of the best I ever had. Beer taps were out of order so had to have cans or bottles. Great service from the bartenders. Bring a jacket because it is windy up there. Would definitely go back.”

“Made a reservation for 21 people to celebrate my wife's birthday. Laurence was very accommodating; even as the number of guests swelled to 35. Every step of the way Laurence was congenial, helpful and kind. “We came here for dinner around 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night and sat outside. The restaurant wasn't that crowded. As a result our appetizer, salad and entree all came out within ten minutes. It was fine because it was late and we were hungry, but next time we would ask them to space it a little bit.Our server Brooklyn was very good and made sure our orders didn't pose any issues with the food allergies we told her about.The grouper crab cake appetizer was delicious. The entrees came with two sides and we chose a house salad and steamed broccoli. Everything was very fresh and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. The scallops wrapped in bacon with barbecue sauce were terrific, and ditto for the grilled shrimp. The brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert was amazing.Portions were generous and prices were very reasonable. They don't accept reservations for parties less than 13, so it's first come, first serve. Probably a good idea to call ahead to see how crowded the place is.This is a nice casual waterfront restaurant (we were dropped off at their dock after a boat ride) with tasty food. Perfect for an evening of casual dining. We will definitely return the next time we vacation in the area.”

“From the first bite of cheese rolled in dough appetizer, to the last bite of our main meal, it was all amazing. All very good food, fresh tastey salad and soft moist gyro meat. The rice was delicious and I usually hate white rice unless my grandma made it. Turkish coffee is so good! I would 100% make this a regular spot to eat.”

“A wonderful little gem is Buona Ristorante. While on vacation, my family and I were searching for a nice location to eat, and this restaurant immediately came highly recommended! Due to the establishment's popularity, there was a wait, but the food was excellent. Diana, the restaurant's owner, was amazing and incredibly amiable. We ate the pizza, which was delicious! However, there are plenty of meat and pasta dishes. The prices are really fair. All things considered, this was one of our favorite restaurants that we visited while on vacation. Without a doubt, we'll return. And lastly, the tiramisu was incredible. Fernando served as our waiter as well, and he did an excellent job of serving us. Enjoy!!”

“My husband and I frequent this place about 2-3 times a week, we absolutely love it! Parking is easy, the ice cream is incredible (they always have a flavor of the month that is new and exciting) and the staff is friendly and helpful. “Upon arrival we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. Once our table was ready and we placed our order our food came out super fast! We were in and out of there faster than the time it took to get seated. Our waitress was very friendly and speedy! I ordered the 2x2 breakfast.”

The grouper was flakey and fresh . I don’t normally like salad but it paired very well with the grouper and sweetness from the corn .”

“Excellent local sandwich shop off the normal traffic path. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They offer a large variety of half and full subs. Each sub is unique in the flavors it brings together. The atmosphere is festive and you can sit alone or share a larger table. For those looking for something more healthy they have a nice selection of salads. Stop by and enjoy a great lunch at Gateway Subs.”

“We’ve been looking for some good local bbq that isn’t in Tampa. We found it! We got two dinners, I got the chopped beef, my husband got the hot sausages. The baked beans are so delicious and sweet! On a whim I decided to get potato salad, and I’m so happy I did! It was delicious and not your average potato salad! My husband tried it and regretted not getting a side of it himself! The mains were also delicious and hot. The beef was most and flavorful and my husband said his sausage was great. Service was quick and friendly. We will be back!”
