“Excellent food and service plus very affordable prices! The paella, shrimp+grits and shrimp+pasta were all delicious. However, it was the curry shrimp+rice and the ceviche that were the show stoppers. The curry sauce was absolutely incredible! And the trio of ceviche were so unique and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Definitely a diamond in the rough!! There were 5 in our party and even tho we waited awhile it was definitely worth it. Our waitress was excellent and let us know from the beginning that she was backed up but would be back to us as soon as she could check on the other tables. She was actually the only server on duty!! The food was also excellent and well worth the wait and the price was very reasonable. We also sat where we could watch the kitchen staff working their butts off handling table orders as well as a stream of take out orders. All 5 of us agreed our experience was worth every minute. While we were there I didn't hear any complaints at all, which is highly unusual when you have any kind of wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We even tipped the kitchen staff for their hard work.”

We were very pleasantly surprised by the addition of a Sunday Brunch service which was the best we have had on the Gulf Coast.”

“If anyone watched “Jiro Dreams of Sushi” documentary film and you are a sushi lover you should try this place “Sushi Sho Rexley” near Sundial. This film is about an 85-year-old sushi master and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, previously a Michelin three-star restaurant. Sukiyabashi Jiro is a 10-seat, sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. We have this kind of high quality sushi restaurant and only 10 seats. We get to enjoy heavenly delicious sushi like film with sake paring in St. Pete last night. What can I say! It’s a fantastic experience and culture for 2 hours.”

“We had lunch at Buona yesterday (2/4/26) and it was absolutely delicious! Portion sizes were perfect and the staff was cheerful and efficient. I highly recommend everyone go have a wonderful meal there!”

“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!”

“What a Gem! Small and intimate, everything executed perfectly. The vibe, the drinks, and the food all fantastic. Our favorite dish was oyster mushrooms on a bed of greens on toast incredibly flavorful but they change the menu soon so I don't think it's going to be there much longer. Also enjoyed the salmon and tuna crudite. Bartenders were very friendly, perfectly attentive, and professional.”
