“I’m from New York and have been coming to St. Pete for vacation for the past 5 years. During that time, I used to visit this Baskin-Robbins location quite often, but I had some frustrating experiences in the past.

Many times when I went around 7 PM, I was told they were already closed, which felt strange because most Baskin-Robbins locations stay open later. On top of that, whenever I tried to order a milkshake during the day, I was often told they didn’t have it available or that the machine wasn’t working. After dealing with this multiple times, I eventually stopped going there.

However, I recently heard there is new management, and things seem to have improved. The staff are now very friendly and welcoming, which really makes a difference. I also noticed they sell cakes now, which is a nice addition.

Hoping the service continues to stay consistent—I’d love to start visiting again during my trips!”

“If anyone watched “Jiro Dreams of Sushi” documentary film and you are a sushi lover you should try this place “Sushi Sho Rexley” near Sundial. This film is about an 85-year-old sushi master and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, previously a Michelin three-star restaurant. Sukiyabashi Jiro is a 10-seat, sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station. We have this kind of high quality sushi restaurant and only 10 seats. We get to enjoy heavenly delicious sushi like film with sake paring in St. Pete last night. What can I say! It’s a fantastic experience and culture for 2 hours.”

“We had lunch at Buona yesterday (2/4/26) and it was absolutely delicious! Portion sizes were perfect and the staff was cheerful and efficient. I highly recommend everyone go have a wonderful meal there!”

“Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!”
