“Beach Bistro absolutely lived up to the hype. The filet was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, and even the bread was memorable — the honey and sea salt combination was amazing. The tartare was excellent as well.

For dessert, I had the dark chocolate dessert and my wife had the passion fruit panna cotta. I ended up mixing the two together, and the combination was 🔥🔥🔥. The rich dark chocolate with the bright passion fruit was unreal.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars.“

“We celebrated my friends’ 50th birthday at the Chateau this evening. The ambience was amazing! This exceeded our expectations for a fine dining restaurant on the island. The concierge was very welcoming and seated us immediately. The restaurant was clean and the decor was lovely. Our table was ready and even had a Happy Birthday sign that they provided. The concierge accommodated my request to store her birthday cake for later. Our server was Camille P and from start to finish, she made us feel like the most important people there. She gave us great recommendations and brought everything out rather quickly. The food was hot, flavorful and delicious. We had the lobster bisque, charcuterie board, New York strips, truffle mashed potatoes and the snapper. The birthday girl loved the snow crab legs. Camille P and the concierge even brought out the cake and sang happy birthday with us as well. Price wise, I feel like the cost definitely matched the ambience, service and delicious food and drinks. We will definitely be coming back and recommending the Chateau to our friends! Thanks again for everything Camille P.!“

“the food is always amazing. i’ve learned over the years that good customer service isn’t perfection because that isn’t possible. good customer service is how you handle mishaps. the service we experienced tonight was top notch from josiah ! there was a minor kitchen mishap that was honestly a minor inconvenience at best however the way he handled it made us feel so very valued! the ambiance is the best in town with its whimsy not just in decor but with the menu! ask for josiah you won’t be disappointed“

“I used to visit the Modern Chop restaurant, which has now been upgraded and renamed The Spotted Rabbit. It's a great remake! The bar now has TVs and beers on tap. There are more high top tables and the servers are still engaging and awesome. We started with a shrimp appetizer which was delicious. The main courses of Filet tips with mushrooms and the scallops and bacon dish were out of this world. I'll definitely be going back as a regular! Definitely recommend!“

The customer service was amazing planning a wedding 1300 miles away! The display of the wedding cake was beyond amazing. “We stopped here for dinner, after a day on the beach. The food was delicious along with the Beachside cocktail. But…. the highlight of our dinner was Collin. His contagious smile and fun personality made us feel like we were having dinner with a long-time friend. He kept us laughing and took excellent care of us. The Beach House is very blessed to have Collin as a part of your team. He truly went above and beyond to make our entire experience excellent. We jokingly told Collin that we came to the island looking for a sugar daddy. After meeting him, we would consider becoming sugar mamas :)“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.
