“Oh where to start!
We were vacationing in Anna Maria for our 10th year and Beach Bistro was recommended for my birthday outing.
We called ahead and found that you have 2 choices here- the 4 course Dinner in main dining room- or- a la carte from bar area.
We chose the latter.
It was beautiful in looks right off. Old wood, low ceilings etc. Very warm and inviting!

Greeted by our bartender who was so gracious and kind.
Led us through anything we asked and made a fabulous drink !
We enjoyed those 2 hours more than we could say.
The food was one good bite after another !
We started with a fresh salad, then an appetizer of shrimp & crab which were perfect.
Entree was Lobster tail and Grouper. All fantastic!
The dessert was vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines topped with slivered almonds and Frangelica!
Still thinking of that now!

Cannot wait to go back next year as this is our new place to be !“

“My boyfriend and I went in for breakfast. Everything we had was delicious. I have to say, the belgium waffle with the fresh fruit was the best I've had. The french toast was so good too. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Definitely would recommend. We will be going back.“

“Not sure why this review page has only spam posters but here is an actual review. Everyone at this resort was amazing EXCEPT the front desk staff the day of our check in. They are the first impression and they left a bad one from the time we walked in the front doors. BUT...luckily the rest of the resort staff made up for their lack of caring at the front desk. We had a great stay...we just avoided any further interaction with the front desk after we checked in.“

“My wife calls me a BBQ snob. One meal at Smoqehouse and I was hooked. This was not only the best food I’ve had on the island… but it’s possibly one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had PERIOD. On our first visit, I ordered the brisket burger. Wow! It was absolutely amazing! The second time… I ordered the rosemary chicken sandwich. It was sooo tasty. The fries and fry sauce are to die for. The staff is friendly and professional. The only negative I can possibly think of is… THEY NEED A BIGGER DINING ROOM. Because when the secret gets out… they will not be able to handle the crowds. Seriously. I can’t wait for our next visit. I’m a big fan.“

“I met my friend here and the food is pretty good, our appetizers were great, we had the big combo app since we were both starving and by the time we finished that we couldn't eat much of our dinner, my Friend had the fish and chips, with a Caesar dinner salad, & I had the parmesan chicken penne with bruschetta tomatoes and a fresh garden salad, I really liked it
I had to get most of it to go but The few bites I had were quite good. It was Roughly $35 a person but that also included appetizers drinks & side salads, so not bad price wise The service was great so Thank you to our Server Amanda for that. The restaurant was lively & a little noisy but that's normal for any Applebee's. Overall a good dining experience. We will be back.“

“First time visiting. Very cute downtown location. Parking can be a little tight. We ordered the Cheese Flatbread and the special of the day the Beef Tenderloin Board. The flatbread was good and the tenderloin board was amazing. We had sweet tea to drink which turned out to be a sweetened light green tea. Very tasty and refreshing. We enjoyed that surprise.“

They could stand to clean their a/c return vents and probably replace the filters, otherwise it was a very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. “Can’t say much about the food here but the marina service is top notch ! The marina could use some work and it’s not as fancy as other places around, but we come back year after year and rent a slip and storage May-August solely because of Harley. He is always a joy to interact with, honest and hardworking. He addresses any issue or concern with haste, makes us feel like family every summer and is always super accommodating to my handicapped father when he comes with us to the marina which means the world to us. Can’t say enough good things about him!“
