“3rd shift is the best, I will never come back here unless it’s for 3rd shift. Originally I started coming back here for Savanna but then the rest of the staff started talking to me and I would sit in their sections; now I just come here for all of them. “I was visiting Plant City and decided to try Way ack Burgers. I can actually say that it was really good. The burgers were fresh and flavorful. The fries were crispy and hot. The staff was very friendly and I didn't wait long for my food. The prices weren't bad considering it’s in Florida. If the food is good its worth it and our food was great!!“

“The staff was busy talking as we walked in and didn't acknowledge we were standing there for some time. When they decided to come over and seat us, we were given any table since they weren't busy. It was practically empty. The table was sticky and dirty. However, our waitress was nice and accommodated us. She quickly cleaned our table and served our drinks with haste. The food came out quick as well. We had a pleasant experience overall. Despite the initial impression.“

“Got to tell you, this was a welcome change and surprise. My wife and I had intended to have lunch at a different location, but that did not work out. So Duke's Brewhouse was just a couple doors down, and in we went. Seating was seat yourself, and just as soon as we sat down, our server came over, welcomed us, and took our drink orders. We were ready to order when she returned. My wife and I talked a while and checked out the restaurant. Lots of sports of various venues were playing on a couple dozen large screens, and there was a bunch of Tampa Bay Buc's memorabilia all over the place. I never could tell they are Buc's fans
Our appetizer was good, Southwest egg rolls followed by our 1940's Patty Melts & fries. I can not remember the last time I had a Patty Melt, but seeing it on the menu made my wife's and my mind up. When our lunch arrived, I first noticed that the bread was toasted without burning anywhere. Juicy and rich is putting it mildly. The onions were caramelized and very sweet. The biggest surprise was that there was no grease or excessive oil in the sandwich. The juice was true meat juice, and the onions tasted like they had been sautéed in real butter, this was a really good Patty Melt.
Our server was very tentative, having come by to check on us 3 or 4 times. Refilled our drinks without us asking and at the end of our meal brought us the check and cleared the table. She took care of cashing us out, and we were ready to go, no fuss - no muss. I left our server a nice tip and thanked her for the great service.
Just note that the female servers wear Daisy Duke shorts and a complimentary short shirt, thus the name "Duke's Brewhouse." So, don't be surprised if your girlfriend, wife, or significant other keeps watching you to see where you are looking...
