“The day time bartender is a true ?. She should be the general manager and train all staff! The evening bartender is a total joke no nothing about the service industry or just doesn't want to be a professional... Thankfully we went through n the daytime our first visit,or we probably would never go back!!! How ever we are so happy with the daytime bartender we will only step foot in the door if she is working. The kitchen staff is obviously equally competent as our food was also delicious“
“I'm so glad they finally opened one in Auburndale! The manager was super sweet and she made sure to mark the sandwich that I requested no tomatoes on. The drive thru speaker was completely automated and even though I had 2 separate orders, both with modifications to the burger, the speaker box (and inside employees) got my orders 100% correct. Had a great experience!“
“One of our family favorites in Polk City! The food is amazing for both breakfast and lunch. The price is worth it, you get a pile of their yummy homemade food! They keep it clean inside and out!! But, the best part, it’s the people!!! They are friendly, always busy to get orders out on time, they know us by name and treat us like family! I recommend them to everyone I know, not just because of their food, but because they are good people who will always do what is right to provide the best customer experience.“
“The food was really outstanding. Unexpected for a small town in FL. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. We started with the deviled eggs that had (cayenne I think) a smooth fill and a fragile greens salad as an accompaniment that made them very tasty. The pickled beet salad wasn't too pickled which brought out the natural flavor. My husband had a thick cut pork chop, prepared perfectly and topped with a traditional chimichurri (not easy to find outside or Miami). A sweet potato purée was an improvement vs. the usual apple flavors. Husband said I had to mention how good it was. I had a chicken piccata special on top of parmesan orzo. There was a little lemon or tang in the sauce. Not a grain remained. Staff was beyond accommodating and knowledgeable, they shared the brunch menu and we're already trying to determine dates when we can make the hour drive to revisit.“
“What an ahhmazing little jem located in Lake Alfred, FL. This place has wonderful and yummy food as well as sefvice. All handmade each day and it shows! The hummingbird cake is my favorite. The shop they have is quite exquisite with all the tchotchkies and goodies to display in your home or wear. I will definitely be going back here sometime soon!“

Not only did he know the menu like the back of his hand, he had noticed me as soon as I came in and took my drink order within 60 seconds of sitting down. I love that kind of service! Expedient and very smiley! I totally recommend checking out the vibe at Ovation when there’s a Pat on deck. I watched the interactions with customers and the whole feel here is just phenomenal!! ❤️“
“We stopped here as we were shopping at different antique stores in town. It was great!! The food was really good. I tried the pink drink and it was so good! It was sweet and refreshing on a warm day! I would highly recommend stopping by and eating here. All the food is made from scratch and the sauces are also all made from scratch. If you get sweet potato fries you MUST get the marshmallow to dip them in!!! I loved the MCM vibe and the staff was kind and friendly!“
“We went for lunch, four of us for the first time. Had the burnt ends as an appetizer, they were outstanding! I had the shrimp and grits, best I've had in Lakeland! The shrimp were perfect and even my bride liked the grits, and she doesn't eat grits!! I highly recommend! Everything on the table was amazing, friends had brisket and they said it was delicious!“

We would definitely come back here again The owner charged us five dollars for an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was excessive but beyond that it was an amazing experience I may send him a gallon tub of Mayfields Just to make him feel bad. lol. I can’t wait to return.“
