“This was my second visit here, and I have to say how much I truly enjoyed it both times! The service was great, the food was great, and it's a very clean facility. When you first walk in, there's a decent sized waiting area (though I've never waited more than a minute or two to be seated) with padded benches. My favorite part about the entrance though is the "Take-a-Book" for children. My son LOVES to pick out a book to bring to the table with us, and it keeps him occupied if we wait to be seated.I got the breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, AND hazelnut crepes. My son got the children's breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a birthday cake pancake. I'm always weary about ordering scrambled eggs when I'm out because they're usually dry and hard, but these were perfect! The prices are very reasonable, and I was actually surprised that the iced coffee I ordered was only $3.99 because it was actually a decent sized glass and it had whipped cream and chocolate syrup on it. I didn't take a photo of that, because I couldn't help myself from immediately diving in to it!They also give each table a plate of biscuits with what I believe is their house made butter. I've had their blueberry, strawberry, and apple butters, and they are all amazing! They also give each guest a snicker doodle before they leave. If you're reading this, and you're not on your way to The Pantry right now, get in your car and go now! You will not be disappointed!Parking: To get to The Pantry's parking lot, you have to go into the Walmart parking lot first. It's the small plaza in the front, in between Mid Florida and the gas station.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids menu with different breakfast and lunch/dinner options!”
“All I've had is breakfast, but it was great. Very clean and cute. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great biscuits and gravy. I will visit again when I'm back in auburndale again.”
“This food was so fresh and awesome! We had pad kee Mao, spring rolls, and mango sticky rice with Thai tea. Rodney delivered it to our site at the Margaritaville RV park. His wife Maya made the food from super scratch. Everything was so fresh and delicious!! Our noodles had a bit of spice so beware if that's a worry for you, but we loved it with the spice..Since it's made from scratch it will take an hour or more to deliver. (Rodney said Maya doesn't even cut the veg till you order) - so worth it. I'm guessing if you find their food trailer, it would be faster since they are in full food making mode.I hadn't ever tasted some of the veggies and seasonings Maya used. Felt like I was in a new world. Thanks Maya and Rodney! You rock!Note: if they aren't in their food trailer, don't go to the Google map location. That's their house. Just order delivery. (We found that out when we rode our bikes by, haha!Greg n Deanna”
“The food is always good, and the service is friendly. I would recommend this place to someone traveling through. For the items, I would recommend the chorizo tacos and the horchata.”
“My wife and I love barbecue and had Smokin Jim's a few times on occasion. This time we went in on a Saturday night and decided to once again have some delicious barbeque. The pulled pork is delicious and the best in town for sure and the steak that "Muscles" made was on par. The best part of going there this time though was not the food. The food was fantastic but meeting Jim the owner was a pleasure. He is friendly and kind. He offered me and my wife to sample some other items on the menu. The steak was done to perfection and had great flavors. The pulled pork egg roll was new for us but is now a delicious new favorite and the chicken was moist, hot and succulent. Jim is a kind man and took excellent care of me and my wife. Great barbeque, great service, great people. Thanks Jim!”
“Features: Well I first started going to get breakfast when I was working for Making Moves moving company owned by Tyrone Summerall and that was 2006 and I still frequently go there with my wife when she doesn't want to cook, but wants a home cooked meal”
“Maria (the owner) works the cashier as well as making the food. We are in town from Atlanta, Georgia. This is the best Mexican food we have had! Don’t cheat yourself come visit Maria, it’s worth the drive! You’ve tried the rest, NOW TRY THE BEST!$$$$The value is very good too! $$$Places to sit inside and out side.”
“Very interesting place. Very different from other restaurants. All the seating is in door except the windows are all screened. So it's like being outdoors. Very different. Menus are posted on walls.”
“This place is one of the best Chinese places in Auburndale but I wish they would stop changing the price. Every time we get a menu, the prices increase when we go pay. Still worth it tho.”
“This is my go-to place when I don't feel like cooking. Excellent customer service, and the food is delicious. I recommend the brown stewed fish, oxtail , curry goat, jerk chicken, shrimp roti, ginger lemonade, bread pudding, collards, Mac n cheese, cabbage ? can you tell everything was delicious ?I'm so glad they chose to locate their business to Auburndale. Wishing you all much success. I will definitely be a regular ??”
“Amazing tacos, most tacos are $1 dollar at piece, yes you read it right $1 dollar. My favorite, tacos de chorizo, super tasty and not super greasy, they have a really straight forward menu. I do recommend you call ahead since they are always busy.”
“Great sushi selections at very reasonable prices. We had a tuna roll, white tuna roll, eel avocado roll, crazy tuna roll, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. Everything was excellent. I'm so glad to have this restaurant in Auburndale.”
“It's a fun, casual environment great with friends or family. We did big family boil; the crab and potatoes and mussels and clams were great, shrimp and crayfish was a little work (to remove shells) but good, and the corn on the cob was a little over cooked. This beer select was a little limited and the fun drinks were good.”
“When I placed the order they were like 20 min away from closing, I bet the cook was super upset that after he cleaned he had to cook and dirty the kitchen again. The girl that answered the phone was super polite and didn't deny the food order . She shuts made it clear that I need to make it 10 before closing so I can pick up my order. And I was literally only 3 min away. When I got there I got greeted with a smile and it was very welcoming despite they were just closing the doors.Thank you for the excellent customer service.”
“Four of us came here for dinner for the first time, and the food was outstanding Our servers, Stacy, and Bri Were top-notch. We would definitely come back here again The owner charged us five dollars for an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was excessive but beyond that it was an amazing experience I may send him a gallon tub of Mayfields Just to make him feel bad. lol. I can’t wait to return.”
