“I visited Harry’s Old Place in Winter Haven tonight for the very first time. It is a very cute and welcoming place. I was greeted and seated right away. My waitress, Taylor was so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a filet and asked it to be topped with crab. When it came out it was not as expected, undercooked- I asked for medium rare but it was very rare and the topping was cold. I hesitated to say anything but Taylor noticed and immediately asked what she could do to make it right. She ended up recommending mahi with a garlic sauce topping which was delicious! The GM Cody came over and was just as kind. I will for sure be back and appreciate them for not making me feel bad (or worse) for returning the first dish. Thank you Taylor for being awesome!”

“The cake and chocolate-covered Oreos were amazing! She did such a great job bringing my son’s FNAF birthday theme to life. The cake looked exactly how we wanted, and the details were so cute and perfect for the theme. The Oreos were also a big hit and looked great with the edible images.
The cake and Oreos were not only beautiful, but they tasted amazing too. We received so many compliments, and my son was so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend her and order again!”

Watching the workers here, it felt sorta strange: they appeared all happy and smiling. Don't they know they are at work? Food offerings are above what a usual neighborhood bar would serve. Nutwood in Lakeland just keeps delivering flavor punches straight to the taste buds like a cheerful boxer who really likes you. The Spanish octopus? Holy tentacle takeover. Tender, perfectly charred, I wanted to propose marriage to it right there at the table. It’s the kind of dish that makes you whisper “I’m not worthy” between bites while your dinner companion side-eye you. 11/10, would let it ruin all other octopus for me. And then… oh sweet green heaven… the Green Eggs and Ham. I’d never thought I’d say this in a grown-up restaurant, but Dr. Seuss himself would’ve dropped his hat and applauded: I would eat them here or there, I would eat them anywhere! I would eat them in a boat, I would eat them with a goat! I would eat them in Winterhaven town, Especially when Nutwood lays that green sauce DOWN! Say! I will eat them with a spoon, I will eat them morning, night, and noon! I do so like green eggs and ham! Thank you, thank you, Nutwood, ma’am! It’s not just clever plating — it’s a flavor bomb disguised as whimsy. Bright, herbaceous, pesto, rich, and somehow still light enough that you don’t hate yourself afterward. Pure culinary sorcery. Nutwood continues to be the cheeky, flavorful gem of Winterhaven. Bold plates, zero pretension, and enough personality to make you laugh out loud mid-bite. If you haven’t been, fix that immediately. If you have… see you there next week (I’ll be the one pretending it’s my first time again).”

“Best Place in Winter Haven for Authentic Mexican Tacos. They give you good portions and the workers are always very friendly and have amazing customer service. Their green sauce is one of the best around. I love their Gorditas stuffed with your choice of either chicken, marinated pork or steak or you can get mix and match and get all 3! Tacos are like 2$ each. Gorditas 3 for 12$. They do take call in orders and are pretty quick with them too.”

“Pumpkin ice coffee was absolutely amazing! This season nothing pumpkin has really hit the spot this absolutely made up for everything. Everything my family had was amazing, the melt sauce was awesome, husband hasn’t stopped talking about it. Club sandwich was super filling! “Have they there for many many years? Don't think I've had anything there that I didn't like. I'm very partial to their chicken wings. French fries are awesome. The coleslaw is a really good. A little tarter than I like. I like it! Sweet coleslaw but I never not eat it. It is still good. French fries are on point seasoning crispy not over crispy and not mushy. Highly recommend a trip there.”

Of course, our meal included salad and breadsticks and we definitely enjoyed them! Delicious food,and outstanding service in a spacious, clean atmosphere. We will definitely return.”

Emmanuel the chef came out to talk to us. He was absolutely amazing and made a beef patty for my daughter that she liked. She had one earlier in the park but couldn't eat it since she said it was too spicy for her. We really appreciate Emmanuel for caring for my daughter so well. Thank you!”

“Ordered some K- Hibachi Chicken and it was the best K-chicken I have ever had at this restaurant. It has always been good, but today in particular it was SO good and saucy and amazing that I almost called to thank the chefs but the store was closed. So I'm doing it here. Absolute banger today.”

I am a fan of the boom boom honey garlic sauce. I wish you had a sweet Thai chili sauce as an option. The tots were undercooked and fell apart, needed to be cooked a little longer.”

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.”

Garlic Mashed potatoes and tasty Broccoli and cheeses . Started the buffet with a delicious tossed salad with all the fixing . Washed it down with sweet tea and lemonade. The bar has top shelf drinks that keep you going back for more . Service was impeccable. If you ever need a place to have a function Flightline Cafe should be one of your top choices as kudos to the owners”

“Been to many Chick - Fil- A places all over but this specific experience is what made me a fan. A young associate Gerardo went above and beyond, not only for me, but everyone in the car. My kids loved him and his attitude was A+ even for Chick Fil A standards. Live knowing that we can go out and get exceptional service when least expected. Of there was 6 stars, Gerardo deserves it.”

What the manager did this evening topped every experience I have ever had since ever going to sonny's for several decades now. I was having to place an order online to be picked up as we were not able to dine in, had a couple of issues with the app so figured I would just walk in and order. Saw both gm's and wanted to let them know the issues I was seeing with the app, issue was also happening when trying to order the same thing from a pc as well on their website. He immediately called corporate but being after hours I think he was only able to leave a voicemail. After listening to me he takes me over to the takeout counter and tells the cashier my order is on him for having a bad experience. I couldn't believe it as it was so generous of him. The food was superb and we will definitely be back as you don't find customer service like that everywhere you go anymore. They have showed they are not only serious about their bbq but also their commitment to outstanding customer service. Thank you for the great experience.”
