“The food was only second to the service! I had the biscuits and gravy while my wife and friend both had the eggs Benedict. Both meals were amazing! We also had the onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. The service was absolutely phenomenal! Sophia took great care of us with kindness, positivity, and knowledge. “I made reservations for my family since it suggested it on their website. My husband ,3 sons and I arrived and the hostess brought us to a table that was waiting for us! That was a pleasant and appreciated surprise to not have to wait. Our server,Jordyn was attentive and friendly she had perfect timing with drinks appetizers , main courses and desserts. We ordered 3 appetizers for the table and 5 different meals as well as two desserts for us each to have a sample of. Everything was not only full of flavor and perfectly prepared but also absolutely beautifully plated. We had a pleasant conversation with the owner ,Cindy, and she answered our questions about some of the flavors that we couldn’t quite place. We also discussed the history of the restaurant. It’s nice to see owners/managers in the dining area. We will come again soon and recommend this establishment to our friends and family. Thank You all“

“I visited Harry’s Old Place in Winter Haven tonight for the very first time. It is a very cute and welcoming place. I was greeted and seated right away. My waitress, Taylor was so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a filet and asked it to be topped with crab. When it came out it was not as expected, undercooked- I asked for medium rare but it was very rare and the topping was cold. I hesitated to say anything but Taylor noticed and immediately asked what she could do to make it right. She ended up recommending mahi with a garlic sauce topping which was delicious! The GM Cody came over and was just as kind. I will for sure be back and appreciate them for not making me feel bad (or worse) for returning the first dish. Thank you Taylor for being awesome!“

“Absolutely adorable! Love the ambiance. Very chill vibes tonight. Charles is an A1 employee for sure. He helped me over the phone when the awful AI system failed when placing my order (please reconsider that as an option because I almost hung up because of it). Not only that, he made me smile while placing my order and offered suggestions to tasty dishes since this was my first time trying this place. Upon arrival to pick up my order, he was welcoming and efficient. I will return because of Charles!! I hope all the employees are as charismatic!

Nutwood in Lakeland just keeps delivering flavor punches straight to the taste buds like a cheerful boxer who really likes you. The Spanish octopus? Holy tentacle takeover. Tender, perfectly charred, I wanted to propose marriage to it right there at the table. It’s the kind of dish that makes you whisper “I’m not worthy” between bites while your dinner companion side-eye you. 11/10, would let it ruin all other octopus for me. And then… oh sweet green heaven… the Green Eggs and Ham. I’d never thought I’d say this in a grown-up restaurant, but Dr. Seuss himself would’ve dropped his hat and applauded: I would eat them here or there, I would eat them anywhere! “Have they there for many many years? Don't think I've had anything there that I didn't like. I'm very partial to their chicken wings. French fries are awesome. The coleslaw is a really good. A little tarter than I like. I like it! Sweet coleslaw but I never not eat it. It is still good. French fries are on point seasoning crispy not over crispy and not mushy. Highly recommend a trip there.“

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

“I recently attended a private catered event at Flightline Cafe . We had a delicious buffet meal Salmon , Parmesan Chicken Breast , Sweet Baby Carrots. Garlic Mashed potatoes and tasty Broccoli and cheeses . Started the buffet with a delicious tossed salad with all the fixing . Washed it down with sweet tea and lemonade. The bar has top shelf drinks that keep you going back for more . Service was impeccable. If you ever need a place to have a function Flightline Cafe should be one of your top choices as kudos to the owners“

“I really love this place and the food, and the employees are very nice BUT the few times I been the tables aren't being wiped down or the seats. Alot of tables I noticed still has food on them and the seats and food all over the floor under the tables..I had to go to the bathroom to get napkins and clean the table and booth seat I wanted to sit in. I did see an employee come out and wipe two tables down but not the seats , they still had food all over them.. again I love the food and the employees are nice but they need to be more cleaner.“

The service overall was excellent and very attentive. The food was tasty, but the restaurant itself could use a bit of attention—more cleaning is definitely warranted throughout the dining area. “I was just looking for something casual to eat and I found this place. I really like the taste it’s not salty and not without flavor, though the chicken was a bit dry everything else was very well done and the staff was quick not talkative but I’m okay with that. Overall I like the place and recommend people who like Japanese food to come here!“
