“Mostly great, some dishes are a miss like the chicken salad croissant. Also a bone to pick with this place, we got distracted and someone cleared the table and threw away almost a full steak salad that we were not done eating. Who does that without asking? This needs to be brought up during training!“

“We usually go to the Plant City location, but we decided to shake it up.
Food was good quality, hot, and replaced quickly. The desert bar is AWESOME! Very clean bathrooms and the music was the perfect volume.
Michelle is awesome! Great service, friendly attitude. She took the time to have a conversation and get to know everyone at the table. We will definitely ask for her again!“

“Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“I have been coming to The Joinery about 4 years now. The pizza, chicken tenders, fries, and ice cream are the best! I'd highly recommend The Joinery to anyone living in Lakeland, or vacationing and visiting in Lakeland! The food hall is super nice and the atmosphere and ambience is super pleasant! “Palace Southside in Lakeland is an absolute gem for Italian food lovers! The Chicken Marsala was tender and flavorful with its rich mushroom sauce, the Rigatoni Bolognese tasted like it came straight out of an Italian kitchen, and the fresh salad and crispy bread were the perfect starters. The Toscana wine paired beautifully with our meal, and finishing off with their creamy tiramisu was the highlight of our evening. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and an unforgettable dining experience!“

“It is our favorite sushi place in town by far (and we have a lot of sushi places here)! Fish is always fresh, rolls are creative and delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is great. Honestly, this restaurant is in my top 5 Lakeland restaurants. I've had foodie friends from NYC visit and thoroughly enjoy their meals here. My 14-year-old daughter has been obsessed with this place since I introduced her to the Out of Control Roll (my go-to). I highly recommend it.“
“Bartender Tom was fantastic. Very fun to engage with him, and very knowledgeable (especially impressive for a ‘new guy’). The selection of beers are outstanding and tasty. Nice clean environment with great music. Food truck available. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.“

“Had a lovely late lunch today. Our waitress, MacKenzie, was great! The beef and ginger potstickers were delicious! Loved the lemon drop martini and the parmesean crusted rainbow trout wonderful. I especially was happy to see the broccoli florets cooked soft enough and yet not mushy. My husband loved his blackened salmon. We will be back!“

“This is one of the best taco stands in Lakeland, shoot might even be the best in Polk county. Me and my partner found this taco stand around 2 years ago and recently we’ve been going if not once or twice a week then every other week. They are absolutely amazing, always friendly, the tacos are brilliant. They recently put nachos on the menu and they are excellent!! We’ve gotten the chicken nachos and oh my gosh, just perfect. Their tacos are my comfort food, reminds me of the time I spent in Mexico with my old man. Thank you guys for being mine and my partner’s favorite food place of all time. We appreciate this stand so much. They have our support 100%“

“Just left. 1/17/2025. Food is excellent but….service tonight was horrible. Never refilled water glasses, my husband got the burrito and asked for some queso to put over it. The girl brought him shredded cheese! Gave us a container for the guacamole and the wrong lid. In between each request we wondered if our waitress was coming back. Finally brought the bill and once again never came back. We finally took the bill to the front to pay. I love their food but when the service is bad it ruins everything 👎“
