“Best Italian restaurant in town. Expensive but you do get what you pay for. Staff is friendly and attentive. The music and atmosphere is nice. Only complaint I have is it becomes difficult to hear when the restaurant is packed because it's such a small space.”
“Bay Street Bistro is our favorite place for date night or special occasion. The mussels in garlic cream sauce are always delicious and very shareable. We've had mussels in other restaurants but none are as generous as this one. The bread was crunchy and delicious and the garlic butter made it even better. My husband always orders the duck breast. It was delicious. Tried the beef bourguignon this time. It was very good. I like my filet medium rare in this dish but the meat was very tender. Topped off dinner with the warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. Again, very shareable. Wonderful fine dining experience.”
“YUM • FANTASTICFirst time visit and really enjoyed it. Quick service, friendly/polite staff, awesome pizza.Even during a busy period our pizza came out quick which they bring to your table. The pizza tasted FANTASTIC. 2 slices were super filling and I was really hungry. Soft drinks include sweet & unsweet tea.I would recommend this location and suggest you leave a rating to help others. A+”
“We had takeout.. a calzone and one slice of pepperoni pizza. I highly recommend the calzone any day.. it's full of cheese and goodness. But one recommendation....If your going to get pizza, get the entire pie. I wasn't that hungry so I decided just a slice (mistake!). My "slice" was small, not very good and overpriced... and strangely they overloaded it with pepperoni I guess to make up for the size? Oh well,I've had there pizza pies before which are normally delicious.”
“An underrated hidden gem in Lakeland that deserves to be in the same conversation with other local greats - 1961 and Scarpa's. The chef is first class and the service was excellent. The only thing I would improve is maybe expanding the beer selection and replacing the current art selection with some local artists. Possibly my favorite local spot that is a little offbeat, affordable, and most importantly- memorable.”
“Best pizza, garlic knots, and clam spaghetti I’ve had since leaving PA. The owners Sal and Vicky are very hands on and welcoming. You feel like you’re eating with family. A must-stop if you’re in the Lakeland area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available.Parking: Lots of parking in the back.”
“Wow. What a find. Recommended from a Facebook group. Did not disappoint. The employee was super helpful and explained all the options. Which dough is fresh (most), which is premade (gluten free and cauliflower crust). Completely get it. But the taste. Offered to add time to my wings if I like them a bit crispy. I do. The taste was amazing. Ask for Andrew.”
“I'm shocked I haven't reviewed this place before, as their food is AMAZING! Someone finally out pizza-ed the hut, someone dethroned little creasers, someone toppled dominos, someone retired the papa brands, and it's Romeo's Pizza.I have ALWAYS recommended Romeo's to my friends, and I'll continue to do so for as long as I can. Romeo's pizza is always fresh, from dough to toppings, and the wonderful sauce is to die for! The owners are super awesome and very chill individuals, it's nice to see a TRUE, locally owned business that cares about their community. The food here is awesome and I honestly can't look at national pizza brands the same ever again. In the photos, please pardon the missing slices, some had to be submitted in for..."quality control" ;)”
“Brooklyn in the house!!!! Clean place.. I do like the pizza .. personally I would prefer browner on the crust .. it wasn’t too oily or gooey.. proper amount of everything.. will return for the pizza I had a extra large extra cheese pizza ??????”
“It was our first year anniversary. We had our first date there 1 year ago. We sat in the same place. Our server was the best. We never had to ask for any thing she was right on point. She even got us our dessert for free since it was our anniversary wish I could remember her name so we can ask for her next time we are there.”
“I'm vegan and the staff does a great job making sure there's no dairy or meat in my food. I've been here multiple times and have introduced several of my friends to this restaurant and they all really like it. I usually get the minestrone soup and pasta primavera, but they have this delicious bread and red pepper/oil dipping sauce. I feel like I could just go there and drink some wine and fill up on the bread! They also have a great wine menu. My boyfriend loves the chicken marsala. Highly recommended! I'll be back again the next time I'm in the area :)”
“Been at this restaurant about 7 times since I moved to Florida a year ago and only get better. Last time I went with my wife and daughter to celebrate her birthday the service was exceptional. Camryn our waitress for the night was AMAZING!. Every one make you feel welcome. Food and drinks was a 10+Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to bring your kids.”
