“Went to the Lakeland Fred’s the other day with my old auntie who lives in the area. I’m a Riverview Fred’s but this one was pretty good. They had the Swiss steak and gravy which I have never seen at my Fred’s. I sure do love it (hint-hint, clue -clue).Steak was tender and the gravy perfect. I wanted to go back for more but I have limited myself in order to keep this girlish figure. In keeping with tradition, the buffet was plentiful. It was like an old school family reunion or Sunday dinner after church at your granny’s. Fried and baked chicken and fish, ribs, chicken and dumplings, mashed potato’s, rice, grits, black eyed peas with snaps, tomatoes, tomatoes and okra, cabbage, greens, fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, corn bread, yeast rolls, green beans, a full old fashion salad bar, soups, and a dessert bar. I feel like heading back over there right now. It was good, let me tell you. If you like southern food you won’t go wrong at Fred’s.“

“I just wanted something quick and yummy that wasn’t a ton of unhealthy calories. I ordered their supergreen wrap with the fire braised chicken thigh 👌🏻. First of all. The thing was massive. I opened it and was like my goodness. 😋. It was so delicious. I about downed the whole thing. 😅 Also, when I went to pick it up, they were super friendly. My food was ready to go and neatly package. “It is our favorite sushi place in town by far (and we have a lot of sushi places here)! Fish is always fresh, rolls are creative and delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the service is great. Honestly, this restaurant is in my top 5 Lakeland restaurants. I've had foodie friends from NYC visit and thoroughly enjoy their meals here. My 14-year-old daughter has been obsessed with this place since I introduced her to the Out of Control Roll (my go-to). I highly recommend it.“

We always start with their crispy spring rolls, although the curry puff is tasty also. My girls love the chicken udon noodles, which are done perfectly. “This has so quickly become my boyfriend and i’s favorite spot! When it’s date night this is always my first request. I love the Samurai roll & the mango roll, the crab Rangoon's are my absolute favorite here!!!
My boyfriend just said as we eat that this is probably the best meal he’s had in a while. Crispy duck with the panang sauce. I also would be just as happy if I had his plate instead.

“Tonight was absolutely wonderful. I was unaware of the updates to the requirement of reservations for in dining seating. The staff was able to get me a reservation with no wait. When we were guided to a table in an area that was not appealing, they immediately moved our table. Then the staff, Stephen the manager and Jeff the waiter made the experience a quality experience that would definitely tier the pricier fine dining establishments elsewhere. The steak was cooked to perfection and the waiter provided the history of the restaurant. Jeff gave me an experience that I have not had at Cattleman and I have been coming here for years. I am in awe of how amazing this evening was. I am also very ready for my next visit. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening.“
