I especially was happy to see the broccoli florets cooked soft enough and yet not mushy. My husband loved his blackened salmon. We will be back!“

“Me and my boyfriend came here to eat and spent less than $35, which honestly in this economy you can’t beat for delicious food for 2. It was our first time coming and it was raining so it definitely helped that they had a drive through! Anyways I got the fried catfish & shrimp combo with broccoli and fries. Everything was so amazing even the broccoli and I do plan on coming back! My boyfriend got wings & shrimp with fries and he said his food was very good as well. We both got sweet tea and it was very good southern iced tea for sure! All in all customer service was amazing and the cashier was very sweet and the wait was less than 10 minutes. Can’t wait to come back and can’t recommend enough!!!“

“First time stop in. Have been making efforts to hit the Mom & Pops never visited before. This is definitely a good find. Small place with a friendly wait staff. Stopped in for first breakfast. Ordered a small biscuits and gravy. It’s a large portion for a “small”! Good wholesome flavor. Not too peppery like some get. Biscuit was fluffy and very tasty! Wife got her usual 2 eggs, home fries, sausage patty and sourdough toast. It’s what she gages all breakfast by. Said this one ranked pretty high on her yum! list. Next time into Lakeland, we’ll be stopping in!“

“Love this Thai place - the best one in Lakeland, in my opinion. I adore the curries, especially the green and Masaman, which are spicy, flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We always start with their crispy spring rolls, although the curry puff is tasty also. My girls love the chicken udon noodles, which are done perfectly. Nice-sized portions, great service, clean restaurant. In my Lakeland top 5 - highly recommend.“

I didn't pay for the party I was part of, but the prices seemed a bit high especially for a childs menu option, however the portion sizes for the child's option we got was rather large. The AC seemed to have been broken or malfunctioning or something, because fans were in use for cooling, but it was cooler than the Florida heat outside that we all know and love.“

“Tonight was absolutely wonderful. I was unaware of the updates to the requirement of reservations for in dining seating. The staff was able to get me a reservation with no wait. When we were guided to a table in an area that was not appealing, they immediately moved our table. Then the staff, Stephen the manager and Jeff the waiter made the experience a quality experience that would definitely tier the pricier fine dining establishments elsewhere. The steak was cooked to perfection and the waiter provided the history of the restaurant. Jeff gave me an experience that I have not had at Cattleman and I have been coming here for years. I am in awe of how amazing this evening was. I am also very ready for my next visit. Thank you for providing us with a memorable evening.“

“Here's a reminder that quality Chinese food restaurants exist. Had their Beef Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, and Bourbon chicken all were deeelish. Their beef is cooked well which i like here and large portions. After seeing some positive reviews my eyes have opened again and will return here to try other things and you should too.“

“Trying to find great Chinese food is hard now days. As a Chef, I’m hard to please, but Peking had me singing and dancing at the table. Food was fresh and HOT! The flavors were spot on and I finally had some spicy hot mustard. The Chinese beer is only 4.95 a bottle! We were here a month ago and they were $4.50. Tariffs? Who knows. “We ordered takeout from Happy House and got the General Tso's chicken combination, roast pork chow mein combination, and roast pork chow mei fun. We asked for everything spicy, and they did a great job with it. The heat was there without taking away from the flavor.

The quality and flavor of the Chinese food here are consistently better than anywhere else I have tried. Everything has plenty of flavor, and this has become one of those places we know we can count on when we want Chinese food.

I also really appreciate that when you check out, they are not pushing a tip prompt on you. That has become such a rarity these days, especially for takeout, and it is honestly refreshing. We will definitely keep coming back.“
