I have seem so many positive reviews for Peking House and their Chinese food that when in Lakeland we had to give it a try. We were fortunate to arrive around 2pm just in time before their Lunch specials ended at 2:30pm - what an outstanding value one entree, fried rice, egg roll and soup for $11.50. I have driven past this place for more than 40 years and only recently checked it out! Now I wish I had come much sooner. I love the vintage ambience; the place has never changed in decades. If you require updated atmosphere, Peking House isn't for you, but if you want to absorb a lot of nostalgia with your meal, you will enjoy the environs.
