“Overall this place is good in a pinch, but the prices are insane. Expect to spend $22+ for a chicken strip tray with fries. Quality of food does not match the price. I expect organic, homestyle fried chicken with good flavor for that price, this place offers basically frozen fried chicken quality.

I've had some pretty bad service here, lady asked if I wanted to sit outside, I said yes, and walked out and sat down, about 35 minutes later I walked in to ask for my food, and she just pointed at the counter, mind you, nobody was inside, no orders being taken, just too lazy to walk 10 steps. She was juat sitting on her phone. They have brought my order out before though.

Indoor its pretty low effort, nowhere to sit and wait for your order, basically forced to walk outside after ordering.“

“If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had the absolute pleasure of having Michael's Grill cater our wedding, and they truly exceeded every expectation. Located in the heart of Carrollwood next to Tampa Wine Room, where we held our reception, they were the perfect fit for our celebration. Joe and his team did an exceptional job from start to finish. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and served with such care. Our guests could not stop talking about it and kept going back for more. Several people told us they plan to come back and dine there, which says everything. We are so grateful for the incredible service and delicious food that helped make our wedding day so special. “We love this place! You cannot beat AYCE crab legs and anything else you want on the menu for $42. The flavor is incredible, the food always comes out hot and fresh. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all delicious. And the service is always great, even when they're slammed! The restaurant is close to an hour away from me but it's well worth the drive.“

“We had a great experience last night with our server, Ryan. In the past, we've had this other server who tells really bad jokes and tries to upsell you at every turn. We were seated in his section, and if he had been assigned to us, we were going to ask to be moved. We heard him doing his schpiel with the other tables around us; the usual M.O: trying really hard to charm the customers with his purposely bad jokes (i.e.: "Where does the Dad store his jokes --- in the DAD-abase"). On a more serious note, he is always making reommendations which (not surprisingly) don't appear on the menu, so there's no idea how much they cost. If you order any sort of whitefish, he will always try to talk you into getting the Chilean Sea Bass, and along with the Rockefeller topping is "the greatest meal you'll have here". No mention of the price on that one, but trust me, I'm sure it is incredibly expensive. We heard him discussing a bill dispute at a neighboring table, where an item appeared on their bill that they did not order. They also questioned a charge for a salad that did not come with their order, that was an extra charge. I can imagine that he probably "suggested" the salad to go with it, without mentioning the fact that it was an extra charge. This was an elderly couple, and to me, this seemed like a situation of a manipulative server taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. In short, avoid the guy with the corny jokes, and if you do get him, expect that he will upsell you multiple times during your meal. Just say no. :-)“

“It was a super casual, themed restaurant with the blinds pulled down, making it dark and cool. We had the cajon seasoned seafood boil, which was delicious and a side of fries. Server was new, but still knew the menu well. The iced tea was fresh. It was super slow, so everything arrived quickly and I recommend the experience!“

“The all you can eat shrimp were great. We had fried shrimp. Fries were good. Coleslaw was bland. The waitresses were attentive, friendly, and service was great. Next time I’ll just get a platter, even though the prices are good.“

“When I tell your you these were so good! I was amazed . I'm Haitian and eat Akra and marinade all of the time, but these are definitely different. I wanted more but I don't need a wide back. Only thing that upset me about this restaurant is the drinks aren't priced fairly THREE DOLLARS FOR A TWELVE OUNCE CAN OF Jipina is INSANE! Our local Haitian market not to far from the restaurant sells them for a DOLLAR! THERES NO WAY! But I love my Haitian people and support Haitian business but we got to do better in certain areas of morality. This was criminal. I'm not sure if it's because it's also a bar but anyway food was good, I'll just avoid the drinks lol when I visit.“
