“We called ahead and made a last-minute reservation for an early Saturday afternoon dinner for 4 pm. We arrived at 4:05. The wine tasting area was busy as we made our way inside to check in. There were 7 staff members at the desk. Three were obviously busy, but surprisingly, no one made eye contact, acknowledged us much less, and checked us in. After about 5 mins, one person asked us and said we'd need to wait. We waited until another person actually looked and also said we'd need to wait. I watched as they checked others in as well. It was not a warm welcome, and it felt like we and others were an inconvenience and bother. I realize everyone is busy, but the greeting and first impression does make a difference as I've been told this place is great. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. We put in our drink orders until our waitress could come over. Victoria was really sweet, attentive, and friendly and saved the day. We had orange glazed calamari, Trio Medallion, Braised Short Rib risotto, carrot cake, a Cucumber spa non alcoholic beverage, Mai Tai and pretzel bread. Everything was amazing, and yes, I'd recommend the food to others. The total was $140 without tip, so it's a $$$ restaurant. Given the welcome, I'm on the fence about going again but usually give places a few tries as maybe it was just an off day. I was told a new location will be opening up, so maybe I'll try again at the new place.“
“We went for breakfast and OMG!!! What a brutal and rich thing. My wife ordered the pastrami mayorca and she loved it. I ordered the tripleta sandwich and I loved it. “I came to this restaurant to try the ramen. I’ve been to many other ramen locations in the area. The ramen was very delicious and the portioning was fair. The avocado seaweed salad was very different but delicious.The pricing was on the higher end. The special ramen bowls were priced comparable to other restaurants, but the build your own ramen bowl gets expensive. A marinated egg is $1.50 which wouldn’t be a bad price if it wasn’t for the fact that you only get 1/2 an egg. If you want two whole eggs, you’re paying $6.Although though the pricing for the build your own bowls starts at $8, you going to pay for everything else in the bowl including vegetables. It’s one thing to pay for meats or expensive alternatives, but having to pay $1.50 to add onions is ridiculous.The service must be a hit or miss. We got sat at a booth but received the bartender as a server, who was not very attentive. When a restaurant’s menu has a spice meter to choose from, water/ drinks are important for a server to check on periodically. Although my server was not very attentive, the other server checking her own tables looked to be much more attentive.Overall, I believe there are far better options for Ramen in the Temple Terrace or New Tampa area. I did not try the seafood boil, so I have no opinion on that focus of the restaurant.“

We were a little early for our reservation, but they seated us immediately. (The seat in the booth needed to be recovered, but it wasn't horrendous.) Our waitress (Azaria) came right over and got our drinks and asked if we had questions. Being our first visit, we had plenty. She was so super nice and helpful. She gave us a few minutes and came back to get our order. Azaria came back to the table with an order of their pretzels because she thought it was taking a while for our food. As she was grabbing the pretzels, she realized our food was being plated and that it would be out in a few minutes. My husband ordered the ribeye, and I ordered the filet. Our steaks were both cooked perfectly, and my baked potato was SO good. It wasn't like most that have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The inside was light and fluffy, and the jacket was perfectly seasoned and not rubbery at all! It was such a great experience. We will absolutely be back! Their menu has a little of everything, but it's not overwhelming. You will NOT leave hungry or disappointed.“

I wanted to get boneless wings but they were pretty darn expensive ($11 for a ten piece with no sides at all is very expensive) so I opted to get the five piece tender combo that camecame with fries that was only $7 bucks and sauced in the mild wing sauce and was amazing.huge chicken tenders and the buffalo sauce was the best I have ever had! Huge flavor with no burn,and the seasoning that were on the tenders in addition to the sauce was a fantastic addition compared to the plain tenders you get everywhere else. “The food was amazing! I got Green Spaghetti with Chicken and Alfalajores for dessert. The pesto sauce was freshly made and I could taste the amazing basil flavor! The chicken was perfectly grilled and each tender bite had a savory kick to it. The Alfalajores made with fresh Dulce de Leche really beautifully ended my meal. But really what made this evening so special for me and my family was the attention we received from all the workers. From the moment we stepped in we were showered with kindness and politeness. We promptly were given our meal and throughout enjoying we were frequently checked up on to make sure we were throughly enjoying it. Carlos (the owner) then came and spoke to my family and I. He spoke with lots of love and passion for food and cooking and felt we connected our cultures through our mutual love for food and trying new things. He laughed and shared with us many jokes and sincerely made it a night to remember. She in all my visits to a restaurant has been the only server to give me fresh “extra” lemons for my water. It sounds silly but it’s something I usually have to ask for or just drink water without the flavor of lemon after the first glass. So she instantly made an impression there. Throughout our meal, she made sure to keep returning despite how busy she was to make sure we didn’t need anything else. I had the plant city salad, pretty tasty! Thank you to Heather, she turned our experience at the door around. The little details that she paid attention to, make her a wonderful server. I will say, I think the hostess/host workers need some work as they also weren’t very welcoming but that isn’t the point of my review. The take away is, going forward, we will ask to be seated with Heather. She was wonderful!“

The food os delicious, but have noticed a drop in quality recently. And they don't serve your food with rice you sort of have to ask for it... which is a little odd.“

The service was superb, and you could tell the team work from the staff was a genuine effort to keep everything running smoothly. Felt like a family owned establishment. “Normally I would give Bonefish a 5 star… today, not so stellar. I tried a new entree salad…. Crab, avocado, mango, and tortilla chips over spinach. Dressing is WAY too sweet and too much! Crab was sparse. I recommend you ask for their citrus house dressing or ask for this one on the side!I also ordered a 6 oz pour of wine, which normally comes to at least the Bonefish logo on the glass. Again, not so today, and when I questioned the server, it was as if he shook his shoulder saying sorry, but it’s just their measured pour.I’m here at least once a week, today one of the few times of being disappointed.“
