“The food was really outstanding. Unexpected for a small town in FL. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. We started with the deviled eggs that had (cayenne I think) a smooth fill and a fragile greens salad as an accompaniment that made them very tasty. The pickled beet salad wasn't too pickled which brought out the natural flavor. My husband had a thick cut pork chop, prepared perfectly and topped with a traditional chimichurri (not easy to find outside or Miami). A sweet potato purée was an improvement vs. the usual apple flavors. Husband said I had to mention how good it was. I had a chicken piccata special on top of parmesan orzo. There was a little lemon or tang in the sauce. Not a grain remained. Staff was beyond accommodating and knowledgeable, they shared the brunch menu and we're already trying to determine dates when we can make the hour drive to revisit.“
“We stopped here as we were shopping at different antique stores in town. It was great!! The food was really good. I tried the pink drink and it was so good! It was sweet and refreshing on a warm day! I would highly recommend stopping by and eating here. All the food is made from scratch and the sauces are also all made from scratch. If you get sweet potato fries you MUST get the marshmallow to dip them in!!! I loved the MCM vibe and the staff was kind and friendly!“
“What a pleasant surprise! We have eaten at Denny’s twice for the first time in a few years. The first was in a location I won’t mention but it was disappointing. The restaurant was dirty and outdated. The food wasn’t horrible but not great either. Tonight was different. The Denny’s in Winter Haven was great! Donna greeted us as we came in the door and provided the best service. The food was great, everything was nice and clean, and Donna is the perfect example of excellent customer service. We love having breakfast at night from time to time and we have a new favorite place for that! We hope to see Donna again as well!“
“I love Louise’s Kitchen 10/10 would recommended! I got the grilled shrimp with cheesy eggs and cheesy grits with peppers and onions it was a taste of heaven, my best friend got the chicken and waffles and she loved it as well. The cashier/waiter/cook really took care of us his customer service is top tier. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but his attitude alone makes me want to come back. The food took the appropriate time to get to us not too long not too short. Don’t wait to long to try! You don’t know what you’re messing.“
“Was that the twisted prop for bike night. Hosted by Harley. Had a great time, lots of people and a great band. Food took a little long to get but that was because there was a lot of people. Would recommend this place for just getting out and hanging out. They always seem to have a great band. Good atmosphere great service indecent food.“
“Andres's is one of our favorite eateries. They have a wide variety of food on the menu plus the daily specials. The portions are very generous, and everything we've eaten there has been great. If they have the pineapple shrimp and chicken as a special when you visit, I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend you try Andrea's whether you are local or passing through.“
“We had an amazing meal after our day in the park. Our waitress, Susan, was super attentive and completed our positive experience. The food was a great variety - since we had 7 people, we ordered one of each platter and adults and kids were both happy with the selection. Making a reservation here was a great choice as the parking lot emptied while we ate. The atmosphere is super fun - even the light fixtures are made of LEGO. Take your kids here - your whole family will love it!“
“Fluffy's has lots of very good diner style food, and they make a lot of their own stuff. Even homemade ice cream, and I'm pretty sure their Tater Tots are homemade as well.Their tots are super crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside and great flavor. No ketchup is needed for these tots.Burgers are very loaded and delicious. I got the Cowboy burger, and it was great. The onion rings on it had such audible crunch my partner heard it across the table. Nice and thick but crispy bacon and great sauce.We wanted to try a banana split but were too full. We'll be back to try one of those sometimes. Very good food. The servers here are also super friendly and nice! Great people and nice atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Lots of cute penguins characters on the walls here for cute decoration. Plus a nice kids menu.“

“Our family has a vacation home in Winterhaven and we have frequented Andy’s for nearly 15 years. We have so many memories of wonderful days that include burgers at Andy’s!! A year ago a li grime client of mine moved to Lakeland from Michigan and called me asking if I had ever heard of this great burger place in Winterhaven / I asked the name and sure enough Andy’s!!! lol.My favorite grumble about the restaurant is that they are cash only - but trust me, I get grief every time I grumble :)Do yourself and your kids a favor - make Andy’s part of your Disney / Florida routine and join a nationwide family of diners!!“

Staff wasn’t very chatty and outgoing but average and did all the steps of service. Huge praise to the cooks my food was very fresh and delicious and not mushy like some takeout can be from the condensation in the box. Definitely one of the top beefs I’ve visited!“

Not only did he know the menu like the back of his hand, he had noticed me as soon as I came in and took my drink order within 60 seconds of sitting down. I love that kind of service! Expedient and very smiley! I totally recommend checking out the vibe at Ovation when there’s a Pat on deck. I watched the interactions with customers and the whole feel here is just phenomenal!! ❤️“
