9 Best Breakfast Restaurants near Winter Haven

“Why I enjoy eating at this IHOP being close distance to Legoland after work from a late shift. Every so often especially on cooler nights I choose the IHOP because I like the coffee that is comes served in a carafe. The Servers here will help out other servers if needed to and they are so polite and courteous. It never takes to long waiting to get a refill on drinks. I also like there sweet tea.
The Ihop is always the best diner because every month they have Special Menus. They are also the only restaurant that has 4 different flavors of syrup.
The average price is for a meal with drinks is $20.00
There were a couple of times on the cold days of Spring it was just a cold inside as it was outside. Nothing like eating inside only to have to wear Winter clothing. At least the Summer nights the atmosphere has improved more comfortable AC.
My only disappointment is if you want a Salad the best dressing flavors are gone.
Entrees are now from $11-$29 highest item is a steak.“

“Delicious ice cream just around the corner from where I live. I usually get the they are so good. This is a great place if you have children. Very child friendly.

“We went for the all you can eat fish fry on Friday. It was amazing. The fish was very light and breaded to perfection. The french fries were also very tasty if you’re looking for somewhere to go on a Friday night in Lake Wales, you can’t go wrong with fish fry Fridays“

“The food was okay at this Waffle House, but the overall experience was pretty disappointing. I found a hair in my waffle, which is already bad enough—but what made it worse was that the hair didn’t even look like it belonged to anyone working there. That raises serious concerns that it may have been in the batter itself, meaning it could’ve contaminated more than just my meal.

They did replace the food, but by that point, my appetite was completely gone. On top of that, we were still charged, and paying $70 for four people for an experience like that is just ridiculous.

Definitely not a place I’d be eager to return to after this.“

“I stopped by Taco Bell in Lake Wales yesterday on my way home from a road trip. I had a strange issue with my card. My banking app initially showed the transaction as declined, so I called the restaurant to let them know because I wanted to make sure everything was handled honestly.
I spoke with Ms. Settle, and she was kind and helpful while trying to figure out what happened. My bank later told me there was a pending charge for $16.37, so hopefully it all gets sorted out. Either way, I appreciate Ms. Settle's professionalism and friendly attitude. Thank you for your great customer service—and if it really does turn out to be free food, I guess that's one unexpected way to end a long road trip! God bless!“
