McDonald's in Winter Haven

“Visiting this historic McDonald’s in Winter Haven, Florida, was definitely a different kind of travel experience. Opened in 1963 as McDonald’s #500, this location is a fascinating piece of American fast-food history.
One of the highlights is the rare original Golden Arch sign, along with historic photographs that take you back to the restaurant’s early days. The building has been modernized over the years, but it still preserves important elements of its past.
For me, this was more than just stopping for a burger—it was an opportunity to discover a small piece of Florida and American history hiding in plain sight. 🍔🇺🇸“

“Some of the staff is wonderful. Others that just to collect paycheck they seem to hate their jobs and will ignore you. I hate the fact that they have remodel all McDonald's is so that one or 2 staff members come-from-behind a wall every few minutes. There's never anybody yet any of the registers of McDonald's.“

“I go to this location a lot because its conveniently located. the food is standard macdonalds, but never under or over cooked. the real star is the staff though. they are always very kind and try their best to get through the line quickly. particularly the morning drive thru rock :)“

“Years ago I lived by this one. It was like a neighborhood McDonald's when I moved on the other side of town. So whenever I cross through there I always try and stop. I had an issue with another McDonald's. I stopped there to get a different order. They assisted me. And the food was spot on. They were polite, generous in spirit and a great attitude. I wish them happy holidays and bless them all.“
