“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “Not your typical plaza sushi place. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they make their roles very uniquely and put a little spin on the typical roll. I like the spice level in the rolls and they have them marked pretty well in the menu, which ones are spicey. Interior is little dated, but was clean and service was good.“

“Came in after a long day and wasn't expecting much, but Jayson completely changed the experience. He was quick, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude the entire time. Even though the restaurant was busy, he never made us feel forgotten and handled everything with a smile. He made sure our food came out right, answered all of our questions, and kept the table clean throughout the meal. Service like his is the reason we'll be returning to this location. Huge thanks to Jayson for making our visit such a great one—he definitely deserves five stars!

“On a scale of 1 - 10, I rate this place 100! Eggs Up is my weekly Sunday hangout! Ever since relocating to Riverview in 2020, I made this my usual hangout! Everyone is so welcoming and the food is delicious! Special fist bumps go out to Amaya, Jackie, Lisa, Ary, T, Liz, and the Boss! But they are all super nice! My favorites include the Bananas Foster French Toast, the Baja Chicken Omelette, and the Creme Brûlée French Toast! They have healthy options too, which I have now started to order! :) I will occasionally bring a friend to dine here and will always bring my sister when she visits from Rhode Island. But I recommend them to everybody!! Thank you for making me feel so welcome, Eggs Up!! You are all sp-egg-tacular!!“

“We stopped by for lunch yesterday. It was our first visit but we’ve heard good things from friends. We were promptly greeted and seated without delay. We had one of the lunch specials (tacos, rice and beans) that came out quickly. Everything was very tasty including the chips and salsa delivered before the meal. “China 1 has been my go-to Chinese takeout spot for at least 13 years. I’ve lived in different parts of the area over that time, and I’ll gladly drive past two other Chinese restaurants just to order from here.

The food is always consistent, which is honestly one of the most important things with takeout. Every time we order, it tastes just as good as the last time. Orders are also ready incredibly fast, which makes it perfect when you just want to grab dinner without waiting forever.

The staff has always been very friendly whenever we come in, and the whole process is quick and easy. For Chinese takeout, it’s simply one of the best around.

It’s also pretty easy to get in and out of the plaza, which makes pickup simple. But the real reason to go is the food — the quality is noticeably better than most other places nearby.

“I have been going for a long time and lately it's been very long wait times even for pick up orders, I was told 10-15 minutes on the phone and waited 30 minutes in the restaurant while it was empty. I understand if it takes a minute to cook the food, but please be honest about the time frame. Also I paid 50+ for 3 dinners - which is not bad, but I used to be able to get 4 for 50. So the price increase is noticeable.“
