The Mgr made up for it by comping our first round of drinks and my husband's dinner (that was never put in), but wow. I feel like I was getting punked tonight.”

“I’ve been going to the Brunchery since I was a kid and now I take my own kids there if that tells you how good this place is. The potatoes are amazing but so is almost everything else on the menu. The staff has always been super friendly and accommodating. It’s my kids’ favorite place to eat so I take them every chance I get!”

“Second time having the cold pressed fresh juices from here (and a great peanut butter, almond milk, vanilla protein, almond milk shake!) You can buy in 8 or 16 oz glass, or in disposable cups for $1 less per drink. Very friendly and helpful service, immaculately clean store. (Half of the store is shake and supplement Powders and snacks) This business is a few doors down from Crunchfitness in Valrico. (Lithia Pinecrest) I'm using the juices to rebuild health after cancer treatments. My daughter and her friend did a juice fast and are using it in conjunction with their workouts.”

“Delicious as usual however, we ordered one stuffed pizza split with different toppings on either side of the pie. I instructed them to put one of the toppings particular to that side so we could identify which side was which. they told us they couldn't do that but they would make each side identifiable. They didn't. We had no way of knowing which side was which. If I tell you how I want my pizza, please make it that way. This doesn't mean we will not order again because it is great pizza.”

“Stopped by their new location today for some dinner for our family. First timers & we most definitely will be back! Ordered the steak & shrimp Tropi Boy, The Chick Shack Sandwich & a grilled cheese kids meal. Man o man! So so so good! The flavor of the meats are mouth watering. “I've been eating at the NY Diner in Valrico, Fl. ever since Laurie & Jeff took it over many years ago, not sure of the year, 2009 ?, somewhere around there. Anyhow, obviously I've been a Happy Camper there for some time. The business has been sold, I believe three times since then... and I've stayed with the diner faithfully. This review bringing 5 Stars on Service & Atmosphere, but only 4 on food which is being gracious. Why?... Read on.............. My favorite meal is Breakfast of which there are many variations, mine being "NY Strip Steak & Eggs" of which I have always been very happy with at close to $20.00 or slightly higher that demands a $4.00 or $5.00 Tip... last of the Big Spenders? Ha!... what can you buy for $5.00 lately? Some time back, a year or so ago, someone in power changed their Steak Supplier, I assume to increase profits... yes I've asked, no I've received no answer. From that time on, the steak was loaded with fat, no bones, and outstanding in its length, width, and thickness. I must confess it looked delicious laying there in the plate. However, when attempting to cut it with the sharp knife supplied, (ugh) it was near impossible to cut. It was like trying to cut a soft rubber tire... the meat simply rolled back and forth with the knife regardless of from which angle it was cut. Anyhow, after extended cutting, having a few squares to eat... I found that the meat was, as expected, also next to impossible to chew, and was tasteless. In the time frame since the last owner took over, I have occasionally ordered this same Steak & Eggs order, perhaps a month or two between orders, hoping that the diner had returned to their previous supplier... no such luck as the steak was always as explained above... a waste of my time and money. I don't know how something on the plate could look so good, so delicious... to be so disappointing! My last time at the diner, June 10th, 2024, longing for a good delicious steak, I spoke with a waitress who has been there since day one so to speak. I spoke to her about the steaks quality going downhill since the new supplier took over, and asked if possibly the owner may have reverted to his original supplier. She didn't know. I decided to chance it... and ordered the Steak & Eggs breakfast. Upon having my breakfast sat on the table... it was indeed something to behold, BUT as I attempted to cut into it... it was all the same as before... actually worse! In thinking about it, I would explain it to anyone as a thick slice of rubbery meat from a whale the Titanic hit prior to the iceberg, possibly a dead horse that had passed away due to old age, something of that nature, but surely not a NY Strip Steak! Note that this review pertains to just the NY Strip Steak & Eggs breakfast, and nothing else. I will continue to dine there, eating all else from the menu, excepting the NY Strip Steak.”

“I have a son that resides in Florida near this Rita’s. Him and I were on a jog during my visit, and nearing the end of our 7 miles run, we run smack into this brand new Rita’s. Not my ideal post run meal, but the place felt so welcoming. So, I listened to my instincts, and went to go grab one of their delicious frozen treats. I ended getting the Italian ice flight, and boy o boy, what a flavorful treat. Had my taste buds dancing like it was our first time listening to careless whisper all over again. Plus the customer service was top notch. 100/5!”

“I had the pleasure of dining in the Valrico restaurant and tho my review is not all pleasant the results of my issue was pleasant...My mom and I came in for dinner after her Chemo Treatment...Our waitress Bianca was very nice...we ordered our food a Pancake breakfast and Pot Pie...as we waited some time we noticed that tables whom were seated after us were getting their food...well after the 3rd table was served I finally called our waitress over to ask how long would it be she politely responded I'm checking on it now...so I asked could I please speak with a manager...The reason being is that I felt I didn't need to address the waitress because she was going to continue serving us and I didn't want the tension between us...The manager came out can't remember her name I explained to her that we had been waiting quite a while for our food and in the meantime no one said anything to us of why it's taking so long...she apologized and offered us freebies to our satisfaction...We refused the freebies because we wanted what we ordered we didn't come to get anything free...To my surprise she was very professional listened to our problem with a pleasant attitude...Even tho we refused she brought dessert to the table..just wanted to say Thank you to not only her but also Bianca I will definitely be back again...The our dinner was amazing...”

“Last year for my small business Christmas party I want to Firehouse Subs for catering. The price was amazing. But when we set up that evening we noticed that the order was flipped, mostly veggie sandwiches and very little meat, it was ordered the other way. My husband ran to Public and got meat and Firehouse Subs refunded my money and offered to remake the order, which I declined. This year, I tried them again. It was PERFECT!! “5 stars all around the board. Smoothies aren’t usually my thing of choice but I went here and got a good opinion from Cindy! Very friendly and outgoing, made sure to be very patient with me and made the experience painless!

The service was undeniably fantastic as Noe (the one making my smoothie) was actually pretty quick! Didn’t wait long at all, so seriously good job on that end.

Nonetheless, it was a great experience overall and I’m definitely gonna be heading to this place more often to get a little snack to get some energy. Without a doubt my new favorite smoothie place, 11/10, 5 stars, 100% coming back!”

“I have been a long-time frequent customer and was very disappointed after trying their new online order process. There was no disclaimer the order would be delivered through a meal service rather than their own drivers. I received cold pizza and soggy wings nearly 2 hours later after the new delivery service decided to drive my pizza around the area fulfilling other customer’s orders from other restaurants first, this is after it likely sat at the restaurant for 20-30 minutes after it was ready for delivery. Had I known this, I would have called in my order directly as I have done in the past. We live within 5 minutes of the store and always receive hot pizzas quickly when ordering via phone. I should have noticed the increased menu prices and realized it was to account for a delivery service fee, but I didn’t. There should be a disclaimer on your website that online orders are delivered through a contracted delivery service. When calling to get an update on the delay I was put on hold and hung up on four times before giving up.”

“Me and my family love ordering from here! We always get the very huge Calzones! And the Philly cheese steak sandwiches! Also the salads are pretty good too! Food is always ready on time, no wait! We order anytime between 3pm -6pm on usually busy days, never had to wait. Was always ready at pickup time and usually ready earlier that the pickup time! and also very fresh/hot! Today they gave us a free platter of cinnamon bites, that the guy said were new to the menu! Those were really good too! We have ordered several times now and the team members are always very nice and welcoming! Very clean inside! Im guessing older bad reviews are from older management. Because we have never had a problem with our 10+ orders so far! Definitely give this place a try! :) A++”
