“Didnt plan to get food in the area but needed gas and the food smelled amazingggg.Wife and I decided to try it and let me just say... it was some of.. if not.. the best.. gyro ive ever had. 10/10 would go back.Rice was amazing, meat was amazing, flavors were just great.Cashier wasnt overly rude but was definitely off putting and not enjoying to order from with a little bit of snippyness in her voice. The store deserves to be in a more visible location!“
“Let me preface this by saying it takes alot to get me to leave a review. We just left Acropolis in Ybor after having not been in probably a year or so. Reason for that was because the service had become just 'meh'. Only the minimum and the servers in past years seemed bothered to be there. We live in South Tampa so if your familiar you know most places close on Mondays (today) and we were craving Greek so we headed over for another shot.We were seated immediately even with the restaurant being 3/4 full and we were lucky enough to get J.J. as our server. He was friendly, prompt, attentive and didn't skip a beat with our order. We watched him and two other servers (one of which I later met as the manager, Greg) not slow down the whole time we were there. It's the most on point I have seen 3 servers be able to service a restaurant and no customer was left wanting. We eat out quite a bit so to say that a quick stop in for lunch was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had in a long time is saying something. We'll be back & soon. Great crew.-Tampa Native“
“On my last day in Tampa, I passed by and decided to grab some lunch here. Stratos & Leo were working and were both soooo wonderful! So kind, sweet, 10/10 service + attitude from them both! The place was clean + lively, the food was SO delicious, everything was great! Will definitely stop back in when i find myself back in Tampa ?“
“Stopped on the way home from out of town. Small family owned business with a fast casual feel but way better food. When the food came out with sumac I was hyped because I knew it would be good. The woman who took my order was very nice and helpful. The hummus was amazing, creamy in texture and the pita was warm and fresh. SOO good. The babaganoush was not my favorite because I prefer creamier but it was still quite good. Fattoush salad dressing was incredible. I got it with chicken and I didn't even need to. Falafel wrap was amazing. The falafel was fresh, the wrap was press toasted perfectly I love a toasted wrap. Light balsamic glaze on the outside, it was the perfect portion. Get a wrap! If I go back (quite out of the way from where I am probably an hour) I would get hummus, fattoush and a falafel wrap. I got a to go mix grill, I picked at the meat to try. It wasn't bad but not my favorite thing I ate there. If you like fresh mint their mint lemonade is delicious.“
“An esthetically beautiful place with stylish interior, good quality service, an acceptable, but not outstanding food. First disappointment was when I was greeted by one of hostesses who did not smile or made me feel welcome. She also provided lunch menus instead of brunch menus as it seemed that doing her job was a bother to her. Luckily, our server, Frankie, was great, and he made sure we got the attention we needed. He described Predalina as a Seafood-Driven Mediterranean Cuisine restaurant, explained in details various menu items, and made some food recommendations. However, when one of my friends received her Crab Benedict, lump crab patty was extremely dry / overcooked and poached eggs that are usually the star of any eggs Benedict, to our great disappointment, looked more like hard-boiled eggs. Manager stopped by the table to take the benedict back to substitute for an omelet. Myself and my other friend ordered an omelet each also, I just added avocado to mine. I'd give this omelet 4.5 stars. It came with a side salad + roasted tomato, spinach, onion, feta, chive inside the omelet, crispy potato, and a toasted sourdough on a side - which was so delish! My hazelnut latte was 3/5 only because hazelnut syrup tasted artificially, but both of my friends really enjoyed their decaf latte as well as lavender chai latte. One more thing I would like to mention is that it was very cold inside. *Parking: you can park at $4 per hour at E. Cumberland Avenue parking garage with plenty of space available or use a valet for $30+. I look forward to trying this place for dinner. Hoping for a 5-star experience next time.“
“I was starving so my photo does not do justice to the food. Portions are very generous. Big thumbs up to the chicken schwarma and Greek fries. Carnitas was only OK. The pork was well done, but the flavors were sort of one dimensional. Still worth a return visit!“
“The food is delicious here! Great pricing and a huge variety on the menu. They’re always happy to help with suggestions too, if you’re not sure. I get the meat and rice bowl regularly, and it’s always very fresh. I love the food and the service here!“
“Absolutely fantastic experience at Truly Greek. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh and traditional ingredients. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Greek cuisine served with a smile! Big shout out to our server Kareem!“
“We started with the grape leaves and falafel apps. I was pleasantly surprised that the grape leaves were not served cold as most places do. Hot grape leafs are my favorite. The falafel was perfectly cooked. Reminded me of my mom’s cooking. My wife got the chicken Shawarma plate and enjoyed it . I got the mixed grill plate and it did not disappoint. All halal meat was cooked and flavored very well. Portion size was great for the prize . We both took some food home. Aside from the food Majdi , the gentleman behind the counter which I think is the owner was very welcoming , warm and made us feel at home right away. Only downfall is that we wish we lived closer but will definitely be coming back !“
“Think of it as a Mediterranean/ Greek influenced Chipotle. I would say the quality (and taste) is a notch above but the price is comparable. We have been to this location numerous times now and it's always Beena consistently good. My favorite is the harissa sweet and spicy chicken! I would also like to mention the team that works here is great and always a pleasure to deal with.“
“Went out for an anniversary dinner, the wait staff were amazing as well as the food. Wish I could afford to eat here once a week.Parking: There was an event that night at the arena so parking was limited, Lilac was kind enough to send out emails regarding this so we would be prepared for it which I thought was very nice. We parked in a garage a short walk away.Kid-friendliness: Not for kids, adults only.“
“Update: Brian...manager made this right!!!Well done.Well yesterday I visited with my husband. My 1st visit was great. 2nd ok, I can understand things happen. 3rd Today was horrible. I ordered my favorite pita sandwich the spicy chicken. I explained that is was not being made the usual way. I would have saw it earlier in the process, but while they were making my sandwich they switched servers. I didn't want to spoil my husband experience since we drove so far. 40 minutes. I talked him into the trip. I was looking forward to my favorite sandwich. He ordered a bowl. I helped him is why I stopped paying attention to the way they were making my sandwich. They have cards so I thought it would be made as usual. Boy was I wrong. I had to write this. I am so so disappointed. When I got home to eat my sandwich. The chicken was dry,, no flavor. Which should have been spicy. None of the toppings that were specific to the sandwich. I tried to eat more but it seems each of the pieces of meat were reminets left over. Dry hard chunks. I would love to drive back. But too far. So please look pay attention. If they rush you will be very disappointed. I am so disappointed.Managers doing what it takes to correct an error.I will be back!@“
“In Tampa for work staying Downtown, walked in and my chicken pita was AMAZING. Abdul was really nice and welcoming. I didn't eat it until I got back to my hotel room, was so tempted to walk back and get another. Food was fresh and chicken was not dry and well seasoned. My go to whenever I'm in Tampa from now on.“
“I always have issues with orders. They are often closed without changing their hours on google or Uber Eats, so you have no idea until you get there or place the order and wait an hour for a delivery driver to go out of their way to for nothing because they’re closed and the deliver driver calls you to tell you. This last time (there have been 3 instances) really upset me because I called ahead of time (also usually useless because half the time they don’t answer even when they are open, and I was told yes they are open and I told him my order and we politely ended the call, just for my order to turn around and show up as having been cancelled by the vendor on my app. It’s good food, not the best I’ve ever had but good, an I like it to local businesses but it’s just not worth it in this case“
“I placed a reservation to celebrate my mom's birthday for breakfast! When we got there the hostess was very friendly and our waitress was super attentive! They surprised us with a birthday treat for my mom too! Best customer service ever, and will definitely come back again!! Thank you guys so much for the superb service and DELICIOUS food!!!“
“The Lebanese Breakfast is AMAZING!! It's not on the menu but just ask for it. You won't be díssapointed comes with 2 eggs, hummus, Lebnah which is similar to a creamy yogurt, avocado, pita and nicely seasond meat, as well as za'atar toast. Came from the airport just for this meal after seeing a photo online and was very happy with the service and meal.“
“From entering to exiting, the staff was very friendly. Well seasoned and flavorful Mediterranean and seafood dishes. Busch Gardens tries to hide this place with their half-mile wall, but we made the trek anyway! In a sea of burgers and nuggets at the theme park, we wanted something better and this place hit the spot. Happy campers!“
“Getting a table here ! Can’t go wrong here with drinks , Mesa appetizers , entrees , entertainment and excellent service. All your pleasure sensors are united with dining , vibe , DJ, drums and beautiful Brazilian dancers. It’s more than a dinner and a show it’s a memorable experience. Mediterranean based menu includes options for all , including the vegans. The people out to be seen are seen here. Well done DiO, second to none ?“
“Come here every Friday for work lunch. The pizza is so good. It's a small restaurant and we take up pretty much the whole place. We are only there for about an hour or so. The pizza is always fresh, thin crust and the amount of cheese is amazing.“
“Visited Kipos Yesterday for lunch around noon Sol treated me fantastic She was wearing a shirt different from the other crew I am assuming she was a manager My first time visiting kipos she explained to me the whole menu I asked her what was her favorite she mention the Gyro plate so I got the gyro plate and it was delicious I am definitely coming back and also coming back for dessert she recommend it the cheesecake“
“Went to the Acropolis Greek Taverna for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is located in a nice little strip mall anchored by a Publix store. While I expected the food to be good, I was really surprised at how good it was and how great the young staff interacted with the customer! I can't wait to visit again, I have a feeling the atmosphere during dinner will be even better. If you stop by and check it out I'm confident that you won't be disappointed.Parking: Ample parking is available“
