“My last visit to Tampa was a home run with my brothers in the chap world. Simms killed it with the smoked mullet and turkey rice. The owners are great people and the food is off the chain. Thanks so much for doing food so right!“

“I stopped here on my drive from Largo to Orlando, just a few minutes off I-4, and it was a super convenient roadside taco stop. It’s a simple food truck setup with outdoor bench seating and plenty of parking. When I went, it was quiet and easy in and out.

One thing that surprised me was that there weren’t any prices posted, and they didn’t have a printed menu with prices. Not a huge issue, just something I’m not used to.

I ordered three chicken tacos on corn tortillas (about $2.80 each). They came with cilantro, onion, lime, and a mild green sauce. The tacos were good and came out fast — about 7 minutes even with other orders ahead of me. The chicken was decent, but overall the flavor felt a little light compared to some other taco spots I’ve tried. The corn tortillas were slightly dry, but that may just be part of the style.

Overall, it was a quick, filling stop and reasonably priced. Not the best tacos I’ve ever had, but solid for a roadside bite.“

“Wow! We had two food trucks (2 Rowdy Roosters and The Chief's Cantina) at our school's Prom. The kids absolutely loved it. They provided great options, the delicious food, and everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. Kim was a pleasure to work with to coordinate the truck and menu options. We will definitely book them for a future event!“

“Stopped by their new location today for some dinner for our family. First timers & we most definitely will be back! Ordered the steak & shrimp Tropi Boy, The Chick Shack Sandwich & a grilled cheese kids meal. Man o man! So so so good! The flavor of the meats are mouth watering. “I stopped by the Island Chew Tasty Food truck for some delicious Jamaican cuisine, which was stationed at the Brandon food truck park. I ordered goat curry and jerk chicken, both served with rice, cabbage, and plantains. The owner and chef, who was friendly, managed everything on her own-at that time. The good portions of the two dishes cost under $40. I noticed there weren't any visible prices for the meals, so I had to inquire about them. It would be great if the prices were displayed more prominently. Overall, great vibe!“

“I stopped by over the weekend to see what the hype was all about. My family has been hooked on Zamars for a while now, so I had to try it for myself. I ordered the regular Zamar sweet wings, mac & shrimp, and the food absolutely did not disappoint.

Zamar took our order and he was very easygoing and helpful. The customer service was excellent, and he seems like a very humble person. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Came here and ordered the birria tacos, elote, a carne asada rice bowl and two of the auga Frescas. By far the best tacos I’ve had at a food truck and the drinks are so fresh and flavorful. My husband got the rice bowl and absolutely loved it, they packed it so full he couldn’t even finish it! The customer service was A1 they are very polite and our food came out in less than 5 minutes!! I highly reccomend Mandos if you’re looking for a great Mexican spot that’ll leave you satisfied every time.“

“Wow I literally just finished my meal and went straight to yelp because the seafood was that good. It reminded me of Baja California but with gulf coast local seafood. I enjoyed the authentic food and environment. Ive been looking all over for a spot like this and I was lucky to have found this hidden gem. You can tell they cook from the heart. I ordered the 7 mares soup and every type of fish in the soup was extremely fresh and tasty. I also ordered the shrimp cocktail and fish ceviche which was also ridiculously good. The steak was very good and not chewy like others we have tried and their green hot sauce (not pictured was good also) our bill was under $20, I believe the burrito was around $11. “We ordered 2 burgers, yuca fries and empanadas. The burgers and the vegetables on the burgers were all very fresh. The empanadas were a favorite and only recommendation I have for the yuca fries is to add a sauce with them.
