“Great service, very friendly staff who are also informative! Ordered the hog fish sandwich and fish croquettes. The croquettes are these delicious fish cakes deep fried- wow! It was my favorite item that I ordered. Definitely recommend. The hog fish was a yummy sweet fish fried and placed on a sweet hamburger bun with a thin leaf of lettuce. Tartar sauce is a must , otherwise it can be a rather dry sandwich. I’ll be back- certainly a hidden gem.“
“We visit ballast point often and finally tried this place out, it’s been a must at each visit since. Their fish and chips are mine and my husbands favorite and each one of their soups are equally delicious! We just recently tried their ice which did not disappoint!! There’s free parking and designated restaurant parking, great views of Tampa, and a nice dock to walk down before or after your meal. We can’t wait to come back!“

“Went to Hula Bay while I was in town on a Business trip. I was in the mood for some oysters on the half shell and fish tacos, so this place popped up on my search. Their main building was being renovated, so the actual restaurant area is temporarily located in the bar downstairs (Duke's). No big deal. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time. The view is amazing and the food is pretty good. They oysters were huge, super fresh and my fish tacos were delicious had a ton of fish in them.....totally worth the price. The bartenders were super friendly as well as the rest of the staff. I'm going back to Tampa next month, so I will definitely go back to devour some oysters, while drinking a cold beer and enjoy the amazing view.“
“I was very impressed with the quality and the large portions! I ended up getting the oyster po’ boy and my partner ended up getting a Cuban sandwich. Both were delicious and we ended up having leftovers for lunch the next day because of the huge sizes. There was a bit of a wait but we didn’t mind because everything was very fresh.“

“In the new year, my husband has been to this restaurant over ten times. LOL we are addicted!! Their poke bowls are jam packed with deliciousness. The biggest thing I appreciate is that they don't cut up two shrimp into pieces like other poke bowl places I've been to. Instead they give you like 8 big shrimp lightly breaded. The price I am paying is actually worth what I'm getting unlike other places. And their breading is gluten free! You can make your bowl really healthy with options like kale salad and quinoa! Their spring rolls are also pretty good. They have other things on the menu that I personally don't care to try but they have so many options!!! “My friends took our kids to eat here and I can't say enough great things about this place! The food, omgggg best hot dogs ever! Even the kids food was great I love that they have sweet potatoes fries as an option for them. The customer service was beyond. The young dude behind counter was so sweet and nice! And what seemed to be the owner came over to check on us and offered free samples of their homemade clam chowder and it was delicious! I'm so excited to go back again. Nasty inside the hut..The counters and the chairs are never cleaned off EVER. When you go out there for a quick beach beer and a visit with a friend you have to clean where you want to sit every time. Never ever maintained.The windows all need a good cleaning.This place could have sooo much potential. I used to own my own restaurant and I can see that this place needs a real restaurant manager. The employee who served us was so sweet and kind I came with my brother and toddler. This was our first time eating Korean food so we tried a little bit of everything!
