“We go to JJ's often. Christina makes everyone feel welcome. We are so lucky to have a cool spot nearby. Nearly everyone knows us there but in case you're not a regular, c'mon by anyway. We welcome NEW PEOPLE! Food is mostly typical but the meatballs Christina makes sell out a lot! Worth it! John & Rhonda are fun bar owners. They have brought the place up by it's boot straps. It’s a food truck so you get your food and you can take it home.The only complaint is, I purchased the meat madness special and two additional sides. “Found this place 4 years ago when myself and my husband bought a house. We stopped by one afternoon and have been going here a few times a week ever since. Wonderful, down to earth people from all walks of life. I've made several friends here in the 4 years since we found it. Kate is one of the most amazing people with an amazing family. She is truly compassionate about her customers, accommodating, funny, sweet, hard working, loving and puts everything she has into everything she does. Her husband Larry is equally amazing. “Randomly driving by and seeing a popup market, we stopped at Cali, which was within the same plaza. We sat at the bar and service was friendly and quick. I got the avocado salad sandwich and despite the bread getting too soggy, it didn't stop me from finishing it. Also got a sangria that also included a mini bottle of wine to throw in. Not bad at all. We got lucky with parking but it was as tight as my pants when I finished eating. Didn't realize there was a location near our house, so will go to that one to try more items. It was brunch when we went, but the lunch bowls were enticing looking.“

Not bad, just so so.Their beers are decent. I had The Red, a good representation of the red style. Other half had the Mr. Pleasant Porter. Like many, this one was a tad on the thin side. A good Porter needs to stand up and have some mouth feel to it. Again, not a bad brew, just so-so.Nice place to come hang out for a bit. Service is decent and prices are fair.“

It was my favorite item that I ordered. Definitely recommend. The hog fish was a yummy sweet fish fried and placed on a sweet hamburger bun with a thin leaf of lettuce. Tartar sauce is a must , otherwise it can be a rather dry sandwich. I’ll be back- certainly a hidden gem.“

Arepas Donde Flor is an old-school food truck conveniently located behind Napa Auto Parts off of College Blvd. not much to look at, but I still had hope.I ordered the Capira, an arepa loaded with chicken and cheese. The ten minute wait was a good sign that I'd homemade. The arepa was good, definitely full of chicken and the cheeses were melted into the package. Their fish and chips are mine and my husbands favorite and each one of their soups are equally delicious! We just recently tried their ice which did not disappoint!! “Went here for the first time with my family the other day. Although we spent $14 for only a latte and croissant, that seems to be the going rate these days for most specialty coffee. We appreciated how clean it was inside but also the cleanliness and professional appearance of the staff. Lately at other major chain coffee shops it seems you need blue hair, piercings everywhere, and lots of body art to be a welcomed employee there. At foxtail all 3 of the younger staff members were all very clean cut looking with nice hair and freshly pressed button down shirts, friendly and smiling, and able to answer questions and converse with customers. We also LOVE the glass coffee cups! Makes you feel like you’re at central perk or Lukes Diner. We will be going back here!“
“I had been looking for great Cajun seafood. Visited this place and have gotten addicted to the crawfish dinner. O my the rice was amazing delicious and roux was speechless. I don’t even like to frequent food trucks but this place is special and I drive across town in Tampa traffic when I can to get good dinner. They have a small outside bar and seating area that is more like a front porch at your buddies house. The inside has several tables and another bar area. I sat at the the inside bar where you get full service and menu. They have a couple tvs and when the bar tender/manager saw me watching a game on my phone he changed the channel for me without asking. The beer tap offering is up to snuff with a few English pints of which to choose. Their menu has several English, Irish and American choices. I chose the fish and chips (pic attached). It was perfect. The fish was hot, crispy and delicious. The amount of hand it fries was ridiculous but they were salted well and hot. Everyone knew each other and they made me feel welcomed. It was such a good experience I'll be back to try the burger soon!“

While I expected the food to be good, I was really surprised at how good it was and how great the young staff interacted with the customer! Coffee was nothing special, but I'll order it again when we go back.One very cool thing about our meal was that when the cook finishes cooking the meal (I'm guessing), he prints the check so the server can deliver it with the food.
