“This is the best KFC I have been to yet. Food is awesome.
I love getting respect no matter where I shop or eat and I felt so welcomed here because of the staff.
Stay away from the KFC on Florida Ave in Tampa. Very prejudice staff. Can't even use the bathroom if your not a paying customer. I'm a doordash guy, walked in to get an order and they wouldn't allow me to visit the bathroom while waiting on my order because I wasn't a paying customer. They argued with me. I unassigned from my order and proceeded to call my doordash company.“
“Just wanted to compliment everyone here at the restaurant. It was my first time eating here. The food was great and the sliders especially were awesome. Really very good. The staff were were very friendly and was a very clean store. I highly recommend it if you want some great chicken and don't want to have to wait in long lines. Their chicken is as good as anyone's!“
“Awesome group of people especially the woman who handles phone calls and delivery orders she called me when they didn't have ingredients for a twister wrap I ordered and I asked nicely if maybe they didn't mind adding a bit of coleslaw in it and not only did she graciously grant me the request she went above and beyond and told me she'd put it on the side for me so it doesn't get soggy and I can put how much I'd like on it! Something I hadn't even thought about she thought about it as if it was her own food even made a suggestion of adding pickles. This level of service you really don't get everyday, good arrived and everything was in perfect order. I am more then pleased with the staff here they are awesome!!“
“The employees and managers were very nice and the store was busy and they took our orders and they never missed a beat thank you for an amazing service and the hard work that y’all put in. The store was very clean and so was the restrooms and I was so surprised that the trash cans wasn’t over flowing like the other KFC that we had went too in Saint Pete. I want to thank the Tampa store for an outstanding service“
“I feel like a lot of people forgot KFC is real food, not some fried goo like some places and that it can take a while to get it. Depending on how busy the drive-thru is and if they get slammed. The staff is human, not some NPCs in a video game. I feel like a lot of people forgot that. People make mistakes. I come here a lot with my son and the food is always so yummy. I usually leave this place feeling happier because of the good food and the friendly service. The only time I leave sad is when other customers are rude for no reason. Like giving the front cashier a hard time because they don't have pepper or it took some extra time for them to get special ordered "fresh food."“
“I got to say that after not having KFC for a long while, it still hits the spot. I very much appreciate the experience compared to McDonald's minimalist appearance. I like that I'm able to come sit down and go up to a fountain, get my own napkins, etc. Sabrina was very welcoming and contributed to a good experience. It almost felt like speaking to a mother.“
“I did drive thru so I don’t know the inside. But the food was warm, everything was packed properly, nothing was missing and the customer service was great. They even asked me if I wanted sauces or ketchup and if I needed extra napkins. That’s how it should be but that’s not how it is everywhere anymore.“
“I’ve been to this KFC a few times over the past year, mostly because it’s convenient to the area and one of the few spots still open late, but every visit leaves me feeling like it could be so much better with just a little more attention to detail.
The food itself is hit or miss. When they get it right, the chicken is hot, crunchy, and exactly what you expect from KFC. But honestly, that doesn’t happen consistently.
More often than not, something in the order is off missing sauces, no butter for the biscuit, or the sides look like they’ve been sitting there too long. I’ve had a few dry tenders, lukewarm fries, and bowls that looked rushed. Not terrible, just not great.
Service really depends on the time of day. I’ve had a couple of employees who were friendly and tried their best even when it was busy, but I’ve also had visits where it felt like nobody wanted to be there.
The vibe can be a little chaotic people moving slowly, long pauses at the register, and sometimes they’re out of basic stuff (sauces especially). It’s not rude service, just kind of unorganized and low energy.
Drive-thru is usually slow, even when there aren’t many cars, and I’ve learned to check my bag before pulling out because small things get left out pretty often. Inside, the dining area is decent but could use more frequent cleaning. It’s never disgusting or anything, but the tables can stay dirty longer than they should, especially at night.
Prices have crept up too, which would be fine if the quality matched, but it’s frustrating to pay $10/20 and still end up with a half-complete order.
The only real plus is the late hours and the location. If you’re craving fried chicken and don’t feel like driving across town, this place will get the job done. Just go in with realistic expectations, double-check your order, and hope you land on one of the better shifts.
This location definitely has potential, but consistency is the big issue. I’d come back for convenience, but it’s not a place I’d go out of my way to visit.“
“Stopped in today for lunch, and had the best chicken breast and wing meal ever!!! White meat can be dry at times, depending on whose cooking it, but this white meat was not dry at all!! Had the right amount of juice flowing in my mouth with every bite!!“
