“Don’t typically write reviews but I want to start giving people their flowers more. Upon entry, we were greeted by a sweet and confident host - She addressed me by name and said happy birthday upon locating my reservation - Thank you Kirsten!Coming from a restaurant background, I subconsciously count the minutes it takes to be greeted once sat. Welp, Brandon greeted us with within 2 minutes and immediately acknowledged the celebration in our visit. He was very personable, diligent and knowledgeable on all things Capital Grille. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner. Each course was cleared prior to bringing out the next which I can always appreciate. Brandon checked on us about 60-90 seconds after each course was delivered which is an absolutely bonus to me!We had the following:Cesar Salad: 8.5/10Lobster Bisque: 8/10NY Strip: 8.5/10 - I could’ve used a tad more flavorFilet: 9/10 - “ “Lobster Mac: 7/10Cream Corn w/bacon: 7.5/10Crème Brûlée: 8.5/10Really appreciates the complimentary dessert and birthday candle. All in all, good food, AMAZING SERVICE! We’ll return! Thank you Brandon for a lovely time!!Oh and we absolutely adored the older gentlemen from Chile who was resetting the tables - I feel awful I didn’t catch his name but super sweet! Thanks everyone!!“
“Most of the tables are reserved without patrons for hours as we sat on uncomfortable tall bar stools that was disappointing. Octopus was good. Parking was $15 Drinks were good but expensive $16 for a rum- pineapple/curaco.Parking: 16$ Parking is rather difficult and very expensive. Homeless people around the area when I went to pay for parking I had to open my purse and then I was asked for money on the way in and on the way out. I was very nervous because I was by myself and could not figure out the parking. Be careful if wearing heels the pavement is broken and many places and I almost twisted my ankle a few times. I don't like to valet But valet is $10 plus tip“
“Did the 20 course Omakase. The room is beautiful and spa like with the soft lighting and design. Extra details include offering pads to rest your phone on top of, bag hooks under counters, guests selecting their own chopsticks, hot towels, etc. While these are great, service is a bit choppy. I asked for a glass of champagne three times. It felt service overlooked our party of four while some others got extra attentiveness. It’s natural when they ordered more beverages but I didn’t feel like anyone came over to talk to us about any recommendations either. Twice, the chef had to wait for service to mark with new silverware while food waited to be served including ice cream melting. The menu consists of the usual items with some exciting ingredients but slightly underwhelming. Knowing Michelin stars are given out in the US a little more easily than other countries, my guess is Michelin will award them 1 star. If you’ve had omakase before, you may be disappointed but it’s not bad, it’s actually pretty solid. Definitely good for Tampa.“
“I had the honor to be invited for dinner yesterday at the Mise en Place Restaurant .This is one of the best restaurants in tampa if you want to have a great and delicious meal.I had the pizza for appetizer followed by the Fried green tomatoes salad with salmon.Every bite was so delicious. The staff were courteous and very attentive to our need.Chef Marty is highly recommendedMise en Place restaurant needs to be on the number one place to eat when visiting tampa.“
“What a great ambience. My friend and I set on the Bar and had some appetizers and drinks. The Bartender James was awesome! Vibe is cool,You can hear the winning noises in the back of the restaurant so it’s kinda cool experience. We had the mushroom soup which was delicious!!! Very recommended.“
“We had a great experience. Fantastic food and a fun atmosphere. Service was perfect. I felt terrible because I forgot to bring cash for the valet. I asked for the Venmo when I arrived and he said we could take care of it after. Unfortunately by the time I left I had forgotten and realized on the way home. But the night was very nice and I will be back (with cash).Parking: You will need to plan for valet parking so bring cash.“
