“This sushi restaurant in South Tampa was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The space is beautifully decorated, creating a great atmosphere whether you’re out for a casual meal or a nice night out.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The menu is large and diverse, offering plenty of options for everyone.

Most importantly, the food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious—some of the best sushi I’ve had in the area.

There was a long wait tonight maybe about 20 minutes to get our order (we didn’t mind because we love naked farmer) but the woman running the food up was super nice and checked in multiple times to assure us they were working on it. “This is my second review for Fleming’s in Tampa, because it truly deserves it. It’s one of my favorite places, with consistently excellent service and incredible food and cocktails. My son and I love coming here for Tomahawk Tuesday, and it is always a solid, dependable, and enjoyable experience. Last year, they demolished the old building and built a completely new Fleming’s that is almost double the size (reopened a few months back). They’ve hired more servers and bussers and are now able to serve a much larger number of guests while maintaining the same high level of consistency and service ~ which is impressive. Our New York strip and filet, topped with lump crab meat, were outstanding. The Brussels sprouts and Fleming’s potatoes were absolutely delicious. The drinks were fantastic, and the desserts were as good as always. We were completely full and still couldn’t resist taking the cheesecake to go ~ and their lava cake remains one of the best! Huge praise to management for excellent training, attention to detail, and consistency. Fleming’s Tampa continues to set the standard, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.“

I arrived early to meet friends and was invited to sit at the bar—something I usually dread since I don’t drink. The bartender approached, and I asked for something non-alcoholic. He suggested a non-alcoholic beer (not my thing), and then I mentioned ginger beer. His eyes lit up—he had one he hadn’t tried before: Bundaberg. What could’ve been an awkward wait turned into this fun, unexpected exchange as we both discovered the drink together. It came in a vintage-style bottle, and he treated it like it was the most interesting cocktail he’d ever poured. That kind of thoughtful hospitality changes everything. When my group arrived, the meal was incredible—rich flavors, creative pairings, and descriptions that made every dish sound like art. The food was phenomenal, but the way the evening felt was even better. As I left, the bartender smiled and said, “I found a case of that Bundaberg in the back—it’ll be here when you come back.” That moment captured the heart of Mise En Place: attention to detail, genuine connection, and simple moments turned extraordinary.“

“This little spritz bar on Davis island is super cute! They are open everyday except for Tuesday’s and happy hour for $6 Spritz is from 4:30-6pm! They are apart of Oggi Italian restaurant right next door, but you can order drinks to go here. They have some outside seating as well!

We tried to normal Amaro spritz, rose, lychee and the Maryl (lavender and limoncello). All were delicious and for $6 you can’t beat it!! They have a small appetizer list you can order off of and we had the charcuterie board. It was $25 plus tax and included gratuity totaling $31. It was good, but the goat cheese with blueberries was one know for sure I got a Publix the other day. Definitely will come back for happy hour Spritz’s!“

“First of all it was beautiful inside and out. We loved our lunch, delicious! I had the brunch flatbread. It was full of amazing flavors. I would suggest anyone ordering this, order without the paper underneath. As I cut the flatbread the paper tore and I'm pretty sure I ate some paper. Loved and bought a sampler of green tea. The small gift shop was wonderful. Lots of unique things. The bookstore ,was delightful . I bought the Edgar Allen Poe book. I love how you have the Classics in the exquisite covers. I would like to try the candle poring at some point. The only thing that was actually disgusting was the woman's restroom. Every trash can was overflowing, one of the stalls the toilet was clogged and water was to the top and about to spill on the floor. Also, none of the stalls that were open had any toilet paper. It really needs to be monitored at least every hour.“

“I was on a cruise last week that was massively delayed due to fog. This place accommodated loads of displaced cruisers who were waiting to board the ship. There was bowling and other games to keep people entertained and distracted. The food was great and I absolutely LOVED the Macadamia Liquor in their Espresso Martinis. I'm not saying I had four of them ...

With so many people growing stressed and frustrated over the cruise delays (we didn't get on the boat until almost 2am) ... the serving staff at Splitsville offered good vibes all the way till closing.

“Zee is a terrible waiter. We always have dinner in the bar. First and last time with him. Wanted to take our entire order up front without getting a cocktail. Told him we would order drinks and then our food so we had time to drink them. Came by a second time to get our order without having our drinks...ok. Got our drink order and then our soup before half of our drinks were even consumed. Said it was too rushed. Then halfway through the soup he said our steaks were ready. Told him to sit on it. I had ordered wine at the beginning and asked for it to be brought after my cocktail. Halfway through the steak and after having to ask for it, I get my wine. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE“
