Cru Cellars - Wine Bar Reviews
We went here on a whim (saved to my restaurant list though haha) for date night . We came pretty early and it was nice and quiet. I got a wine flight and each was crisp and refreshing. All of our food was delicious, better than initially expected. We will deybe back to try other menu items !
Had an amazing experience at Cru Cellars in Tampa! Their award-winning burger absolutely lived up to the hype. The perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors . Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
Great neighborhood bar.

Cru Cellars - Wine Bar is a hidden gem in Tampa, ideal for celebrations, catch-ups with friends, or romantic dates. The ambiance is lovely, especially with mood lighting after dark and a cozy outside patio. The menu is limited but good, with happy hour specials and a nice selection of dishes like the Burrata & Tomato Salad, Empanadas, and Mushroom Flatbread. The Farmer's Platter offers a variety of cheeses and salumi, with favorites like the Sottocenere cheese. Many guests praise the food, mentioning crispy Brussels sprouts, fresh hummus with pita and olives, and addictive truffle fries with rosemary salt. The service is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, with staff often making guests feel cared for. Chef Jay ensures every visit is special, sometimes coming out to check on guests. The wine selection is eclectic and adventurous, with many options to suit different tastes. Parking is easy on quiet nights but can be tricky during busy times. Brunch is a must-try, with standout dishes like the Cru Burger, Truffle Fries, and Filet & Crab Benedict. Creative dishes like carrot tacos and the cheeseboard are highly recommended, along with the loaded hummus. A special dessert, the Almond Jay, is available. Many guests have enjoyed the scallop crudo and mussels, which are among the favorites. The space is cozy, though some feel the bar area could benefit from better lighting and music — dimmer lights and jazz could enhance the atmosphere. Overall, Cru Cellars offers a fun, memorable experience with delicious food and great wine, making it a favorite spot worth returning to.
