Came for brunch on a Saturday morning/afternoon and to my surprise the place was empty. Why? I don't know but the food was AMAZING! I got the Cru Burger with Truffle fries. 10/10 My lady got the Filet & Crab Benedict which she loved! We order the Cinnamon Roll for to go but Jay the Chef had us try his special dessert...Almond Jay. This desert had us forget about the Cinnamon Roll which was also great. The Almond Jay was extremely delicious. We will definitely be back soon!

Long-time customers. We have dined at the other locations for a while but had never been to the Palma Ceia location for brunch. We had a fantastic time at brunch. Our waitress was great. I was really impressed with the brunch options. The French styled omlette was chef's kiss. The shrimp and grits, which were also gluten-free, were also perfection. I have had shrimp and grits at a lot of restaurants, and a lot of them do not get it right. The eggs Benedict and cheese curds were also great. I highly recommend brunch at this location. This restaurant has a nice vibe, it wasn't busy, parking was easy and free and the food was great. This is one of the best brunches in Tampa.

Cru Cellars is one of my favorite spots in Tampa! It's always my go-to when friends are in town, for brunch, happy hour, pre-dinner drinks, etc. The vibes are spot on, the food is delicious, and wine selection is awesome. Their cocktails are delicious for those who don't prefer wine. When I'm wanting happy hour, this is the place. They have great deals on apps, house wines, and some cocktails. The staff are always so friendly and give great recommendations. It's the perfect balance of fun and casual, yet feels a bit more upscale and curated than other spots.

Great place for wine and food. We loved it so much we joined the wine club!! The happy hour has a good selection and the prices on wine can't be beat!

We came on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised they had a wine tasting which were Austrian wines. There were 5 tastings and for $15 it was nice to try what they had! The food options are limited, I think it's more of a happy hour place than a dinner place. We ended up getting the mussels and a burger to share and it was tasty but overpriced. They also had a variety of wines for sale organized by country.

SO impressed by the food and service at Cru! Have been there many times — and this last experience for dinner hit it out of the park. Will definitely be going back very soon :)

Incredible experience with the best food and wine. The Cru team really knows how to curate the smartest pairings with their very thoughtful menu of tasty selections. Had the very best time. Ask for a wine tasting with your group- it was a fun addition to the evening.

I love this place. They do a great job at recommending wines and always have a unique selection. The cheese board selection is SO good. I highly recommend the blue and goat if you're into some funky cheese.

Fun little place with great ambience, perfect for wine lovers. We have been there multiple times but this visit was a little disappointing. They were out of my favorite Sangiovese wine, the first waitress didn't put in my order so I waited a while without it until the second waitress checked and ended up crediting my bill. The flatbread had way too much balsamic, but thankfully my carbonara was still amazing. Will go back, they handled the problems well and my food was still on point.

When we first entered it took a little bit to get seated but they have a niche wine collection that I spent that time browsing. I say niche because I was only able to find European wines. Lucky for us, when we got seated and saw the menu I saw that they were doing a wine night tasting. All the wines we tasted were Hungarian and I must say they were all very smooth and easy on the palate. When introducing the wines, it was helpful to understand the taste profile because when I tasted the wine I knew to be looking for those flavors. It helped me appreciate the wine more. When ordered the mussels and the Cru burger. The mussels were delicious and I 100% recommend. The burger on the other hand was nothing special. The fries were stale and the burger itself was decent, most definitely not worth $19, that's way over priced for what you get. Overall the wine tasting was great, the service was alright and food could have been better.

give Omar a raise and all of his flowers. The rest of the service staff... let's just say they were half alive and even less invested in our experience. For real, our table was forgotten for vast periods of time and server (Kayley or Katie or something) was more interested in flirting with her co-worker than offering refills and offering prompt attention. I would recommend Omar any day... to work elsewhere. Decent ambiance but yeah the weak servers (and I am in the industry, not super picky) left much to be desired.

This review is for Vela Italian Tavern. Cru Cellars was experiencing flooding and reached out to let me know they couldn't serve food and couldn't host our reservation, but they had made us a reservation at their sister restaurant, Vela. I wrote that it was my best friends birthday, and Cru Cellars assured me they let Vela know as well. I called Vela to confirm we would be coming, and again reiterated it was my best friend's birthday. Vela is out of our way and somewhere we wouldn't have normally gone and it was our first time. The server was wonderful and very attentive, but I was extremely disappointed that they didn't even acknowledge it was my best friends birthday. They did nothing for her birthday whatsoever. We don't get to go out often because she has a child and we work full time and don't get to see each other often at all, I was hoping they would do anything to make her feel special on her birthday.
