“we are having a 'staycation' of sorts to visit Anna Maria Island Beach, and I have to stay, after walking to 5(!) restaurants and being turned away, this amazing restaurant allowed me and my family of 5 to stay. Not only did they welcome us, Doug, our server, laughed with my kiddos, treated us like we were royalty and made our little staycation dinner- well...amazing. This is the kind of place that makes a city it resides in..PROUD. The food was nothing short of amazing, I am celiac and struggle on vacations, knowing where to eat. Thankful to God, that this chef is gluten intolerant - so I could eat just about everything on the menu. Do not be discouraged..they might not have a kids menu, but that did not stop Chateau 13 from editing any dish they were interested in to make them smile. I thought they were going to make me order another side of 'frites' to go!“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

“Our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Matthew, our server, was great — he helped us put together a custom flatbread and made a point of flagging our gluten allergy to the chef so we didn’t have to stress about it. That flatbread ended up being the star of the night, loaded with flavor start to finish. For entrees, we both went with the filet mignon, and it came out cooked exactly right. We’ll definitely be back for dinner soon!“

“We moved from Palmer Ranch area to Palm air off of university and I was so happy to find a Valentinos. This one is really good also and the first time I went there I left my debit card and they saved it for me and when I went back in, I asked for a sweet tea that I was going to buy, and the man was so nice or young man, and they let me have it for my inconvenience, even though it was my fault I thought that was a real gesture of Goodwill. Food is very very good and I am a former New Yorker and it’s the only pizza that I will eat. Their ziti is unbelievable and all the other food so they have a new customer for life. “The service, the food, the festive and fun environment! We were here years ago and ate here two days in a row. We had a large party and were celebrating a birthday for this evening. Our server and food runner were both amazing. We ended up meeting the chef and she was phenomenal as well! By the time we left, we had a ‘family’ photo taken with all three staff we met. So thankful for the fun night! Will definitely be back!“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“It has been a few years since we have dined at Ruth's Chris. This was our first time at this location and it did not disappoint!! Kathleen was our waitperson and she was VERY good. The manager checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was going well, which I thought was a nice touch. We each had the Ruth's Classics and honestly there was so much food we brought home cat bags. The steaks were cooked perfectly and everything tasted wonderful. Thank you for a nice evening.“

Kate immediately attended to us and quickly cleared and sat a table for 9, even though they were really busy. Brian was our server and handled our service and he was excellent as well. “My husband and I recently had the pleasure if dining at Sophie’s, in Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota. What an amazing experience. The decor both inside and outside so chic. We had Matty as our waitress. She was spot on with top notch service and a wonderful personality. We started with a bread basket of assorted toppings, delicious. He had the Tai chicken. Well prepared and perfect with seasoning. I had on of the best burger ever. Cooked and seasoned perfectly at medium rare with tasty fries. The manager checked on us several times, a nice touch you don’t see anymore. If you happen to be in the area at the mall, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.“

“The best meal I’ve had on Longboat Key in 6 years…we did the Savor Sarasota extended meal with wine - $60/person, and everything was well above expectations: great wines by the glass, the tris di bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had, as were the meatballs, and the pastas, branzino and tiramisu all are worthy of ordering again.“
