“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

“we are having a 'staycation' of sorts to visit Anna Maria Island Beach, and I have to stay, after walking to 5(!) restaurants and being turned away, this amazing restaurant allowed me and my family of 5 to stay. Not only did they welcome us, Doug, our server, laughed with my kiddos, treated us like we were royalty and made our little staycation dinner- well...amazing. This is the kind of place that makes a city it resides in..PROUD. The food was nothing short of amazing, I am celiac and struggle on vacations, knowing where to eat. Thankful to God, that this chef is gluten intolerant - so I could eat just about everything on the menu. Do not be discouraged..they might not have a kids menu, but that did not stop Chateau 13 from editing any dish they were interested in to make them smile. I thought they were going to make me order another side of 'frites' to go!“

“Small Italian restaurant. Pizzas and entrees are all amazing. I've eaten in and done take out, always great. Nanna's Longhots- with sautéed hot peppers and crisp potato slices is so flavorful. The meatball appetizer with ricotta and crostini is suitable for a small individual meal. My favorite dish is the Benny's Penne with sausage, mushroom, spinach and creamy marmalade sauce- be prepared to want to lick the plate clean!“

“The service, the food, the festive and fun environment! We were here years ago and ate here two days in a row. We had a large party and were celebrating a birthday for this evening. Our server and food runner were both amazing. We ended up meeting the chef and she was phenomenal as well! By the time we left, we had a ‘family’ photo taken with all three staff we met. So thankful for the fun night! Will definitely be back!“

“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

“We were celebrating my husband's birthday! The hostess was very friendly and welcoming which set the tone. My husband had the filet, medium rare and I had the seared sea bass with a diff of suggestion potatoes and ceasar salad to start. The food was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Our server, Melissa, was beyond amazing. She anticipated all our needs, was friendly, professional and really worked hard to ensure our dining experience was perfect. I finished with deli crème brûlée and the house made my husband's birthday cake a celebration plate with mini flourless espresso/ chocolate cake and cheesecake with fresh berries and whipped cream. It was both beautiful and delicious. We look forward to returning very soon!“

Kate immediately attended to us and quickly cleared and sat a table for 9, even though they were really busy. Brian was our server and handled our service and he was excellent as well. “My husband and I recently had the pleasure if dining at Sophie’s, in Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota. What an amazing experience. The decor both inside and outside so chic. We had Matty as our waitress. She was spot on with top notch service and a wonderful personality. We started with a bread basket of assorted toppings, delicious. He had the Tai chicken. Well prepared and perfect with seasoning. I had on of the best burger ever. Cooked and seasoned perfectly at medium rare with tasty fries. The manager checked on us several times, a nice touch you don’t see anymore. If you happen to be in the area at the mall, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.“

“Absolutely loved this restaurant! The pizza was fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked with the best crispy crust! But the real surprise was the Caesar salad, probably one of the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Fresh romaine, delicious dressing, and perfectly seasoned. “I had the cheesesteak sub a few days ago and it was killer!! Being from Jersey, it’s difficult to find a good one around here. It was a huge sandwich and prepared perfectly. I would have taken a picture but I wolfed it down before I thought of it. I’ll be back… next time I’m getting gelato!“
