Food was great, service by Juan even better. We will be back.
The best meal I’ve had on Longboat Key in 6 years…we did the Savor Sarasota extended meal with wine - $60/person, and everything was well above expectations: great wines by the glass, the tris di bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had, as were the meatballs, and the pastas, branzino and tiramisu all are worthy of ordering again.
I can’t believe I haven’t been here until now. Amazing food and service was equally amazing!

La Norma Ristorante & Pizzeria offers amazing and authentic Italian food. The pizza is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with the best crispy crust. The Norma pizza and eggplant appetizer are highlights. The Caesar salad is probably one of the best, with fresh romaine and delicious dressing. The sauce on the meatballs is absolutely incredible, and the arancini is just as delicious. The Chicken Piccata is excellent, and the limoncello mascarpone cake is amazing. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, immaculate vibes, and excellent service. Everyone is super nice and kind. Juan is helpful and gives good tips. The owners are gracious and delightful. It feels like Italy, right in the middle of island living. Highly recommended for delicious food while on Longboat Key.
