“We went here last night after dinner with some friends. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the lovely dessert wine flights we had. Corey waited on us. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. We will be back to try some more wines and perhaps some eats!“
“The atmosphere is very nice! had fun studying for a while! The bagel with cream cheese is simple but was very very good. The matcha is what I came for, the quality was great and I love that it was unsweetened, however i was a tiny bit disappointed in the appearance as I love to repost coffee shops on instagram, this one I was unable to. This is the picture I was shown compared to what I got, for the price point I did expect a little more effort, overall a great atmosphere with great products.“
“Calusa is a special place. Tulio and his team are fantastic. The food is excellent. Long story short, I’m Very critical of my fare.My favorite dish so far is their Carbonara. Absolutely delicious.Every waitress we’ve had so far (been here 3 times in 2 weeks) is fun, friendly and fast. They stay on top of beverages, check on me often but not annoying, and always have a smile. If you’re looking for a good Italian joint in north Tampa with good music, great food and fair prices, this is the place. Thanks again Tulio :)-David דָּוִד“
“I've been here a few times now. It's close to my parent's house, so it's definitely convenient. Both times have been on the weekend and we had reservations both times. I had to park all the way around back, but that's because the parking lot is small, so no big deal. The food is good. I had the veal parmesan and then the chicken marsala. The reason that I did not give this place 5 stars is because both times the food took forever to come out. It was so slow the second time that we joked with the waiter - Antonio - that we would help out in the kitchen. We also joked about ordering a pizza from somewhere else and having it delivered to our table in the restaurant. I guess if you have no where to go, don't mind waiting over an hour for your food, and having your butt go numb for sitting so long on hard wooden chairs, then this place is perfecto. I'm sure I'll be back simply because my parents love this place and it's so close to their house. I'll just carve out several hours and bring a seat cushion with me.“
“April 2024 Update: returned after one year…Food quality seems to have changed or the preparation of dishes has. Lobster ravioli and the cheese ravioli were both undercooked, not al dente. You could see the raw panko on some of the lobster ravioli’s. It appears, maybe the ravioli was frozen then breaded and fried which resulted in the uncooked presentation. One of our dishes was good. The Orecchiette Genovese was prepared and was delicious.2023 review: We had a wonderful meal, the service was excellent! Barnabas was very thorough and his knowledge of the menu was superior!“
“C.1949 is a fantastic local establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful, makes everyone feel like they belong there. Everyone seems to pick up that neighborly vibe..and the options of beers on tap is great. Always some locals, some new and some unusual but always well brewed and poured up. They have fun events, karaoke and goat yoga are 2 that come to mind. I can’t say enough about how nice it is to have a local, fun, neighborhood watering hole to be able to walk or bike too.“
“Showed up without reservations with a party of 8 (fortunately reasonably early in the evening), and they quickly made a spot for us. We felt welcomed right away. Calamari and Funghi Crostini appetizers were very good. My Frutti di Mare was delicious! Others had Short Rib Ragu, Lasagna, Spaghetti n Meatballs, Chicken Piccata, and Caprese ... everyone loved their meals. You can tell how fresh everything is. Prices, including adult beverages, are very reasonable. I'll be back and look forward to trying more of the menu!“
“Tired of the same old wines? Check out La Vid and explore wines you won't find at the typical retailers. High quality, small winery, delicious wines from Spain and Portugal. The people are great, the wine is amazing, and their events are a blast.“
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Blush Wine Room, and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delectable, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. A perfect blend of flavors in a cozy atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful culinary and wine adventure.“

“We had an awesome time once again at Cepas. We have always loved coming for the good food and drinks and this time we came for something a little more special. My husband and I decided to do something a little low key and find out our babies gender over desert. Ashley and Chavi along with another wonderful gentlemen, who we always get the pleasure of being waited on by, took the time to put something beautiful together and reveal that we were having a baby boy. They went above and beyond in making it so beautiful for us it brought us to complete tears! We can’t thank you all enough for taking the time in creating a memorable experience in celebrating a new life coming into our world. Cheers to many more years of coming to Cepas. ?“
“A full bar in the middle of Busch Gardens serving beer on tap, wine and mixed drinks. They do not have hard seltzers, though, you'll have to find those elsewhere in the park. With indoor and outdoor seating, it is a very nice place to come to be to get out of the heat or rain. Sit and relax at one of their high-top tables or regular tables and enjoy the view while sipping on the beverage of your choice.“
“It is one of my favorite spots in the Carrollwood area, but this time it has to be a four. They have too many "Grandma" dishes, so make sure the waiter hears you as to exactly which one you want through all the noise. I received the wrong one. My daughter ordered the lasagna and she could not get passed the first couple of bites, as it was dry and didn't have any flavor. The lobster ravioli at least was the hit of the table. They are better than the Olive Garden for sure, but we were let down this last visit. Maybe next time is a five.“
“We called ahead and made a last-minute reservation for an early Saturday afternoon dinner for 4 pm. We arrived at 4:05. The wine tasting area was busy as we made our way inside to check in. There were 7 staff members at the desk. Three were obviously busy, but surprisingly, no one made eye contact, acknowledged us much less, and checked us in. After about 5 mins, one person asked us and said we'd need to wait. We waited until another person actually looked and also said we'd need to wait. I watched as they checked others in as well. It was not a warm welcome, and it felt like we and others were an inconvenience and bother. I realize everyone is busy, but the greeting and first impression does make a difference as I've been told this place is great. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. We put in our drink orders until our waitress could come over. Victoria was really sweet, attentive, and friendly and saved the day. We had orange glazed calamari, Trio Medallion, Braised Short Rib risotto, carrot cake, a Cucumber spa non alcoholic beverage, Mai Tai and pretzel bread. Everything was amazing, and yes, I'd recommend the food to others. The total was $140 without tip, so it's a $$$ restaurant. Given the welcome, I'm on the fence about going again but usually give places a few tries as maybe it was just an off day. I was told a new location will be opening up, so maybe I'll try again at the new place.“
“Best restaurant in the Krates! Any time I spot by the Grove I cannot resist getting Ato. The food is always, fresh and fast. I love the kiosks for ordering and building my own bowl. Their signature creations are awesome as well. A must try and don’t skip the teriyaki mushrooms! They enhance every bite. ?“
“My husband and I were looking for a hidden gem on our vacation to Tampa. We stopped here based on a local’s suggestion. We were NOT disappointed! Emily was our server and she was so friendly and sweet, as well as very knowledgeable about the food selection. The portion sizes were large, the bread and caesar salad were amazing, and the food was all ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Definitely visit this place if you’re looking for great food and great service, without a tourist feel.“
“Ate here a few days ago and it was so good we actually cancelled our plans at one place and came back. Amazing experience again. Never had whole fish before so got the bronzino. Wow! Crispy skin and flaky moist meat. The best fish I've ever had. My wife had the pesto pasta and like the fish, she said it was the best she'd ever had. Everything was perfect. Even the bread and salad were showstoppers. That's two great meals in less than a week. This is our new go to for our nicer meals out.“
