“My husband and I recently visited Quality Foods Market for the first time for our wedding anniversary. It was the most amazing experience. Chef Chris and his staff went above and beyond anything we had experienced before. Chef Chris recommended a wonderful wine and the food was delicious (especially the freshly made pasta). “We had a great experience last night with our server, Ryan. In the past, we've had this other server who tells really bad jokes and tries to upsell you at every turn. We were seated in his section, and if he had been assigned to us, we were going to ask to be moved. We heard him doing his schpiel with the other tables around us; the usual M.O: trying really hard to charm the customers with his purposely bad jokes (i.e.: "Where does the Dad store his jokes --- in the DAD-abase"). On a more serious note, he is always making reommendations which (not surprisingly) don't appear on the menu, so there's no idea how much they cost. If you order any sort of whitefish, he will always try to talk you into getting the Chilean Sea Bass, and along with the Rockefeller topping is "the greatest meal you'll have here". No mention of the price on that one, but trust me, I'm sure it is incredibly expensive. We heard him discussing a bill dispute at a neighboring table, where an item appeared on their bill that they did not order. They also questioned a charge for a salad that did not come with their order, that was an extra charge. I can imagine that he probably "suggested" the salad to go with it, without mentioning the fact that it was an extra charge. This was an elderly couple, and to me, this seemed like a situation of a manipulative server taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. In short, avoid the guy with the corny jokes, and if you do get him, expect that he will upsell you multiple times during your meal. Just say no. :-)”

My wife and I have been coming here at least once a month for about a year now. The somms are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it comes to their monthly selections. I would trust Jasmine to blindly pick wine for me anytime.

Their monthly VIP package is well worth the money even if you are going to be a causal patron, it’s a perfect reason to come out once a month.

The food selection is perfect for lite-dining. Charcuterie boards carefully crafted and full of delicious new treats you probably wouldn’t try otherwise.

Lastly, they always have events going on that are super fun to take part in. Everything from trivia to tastings. Check their FB page, they overcommunicate which is wonderful.”

The all-you-can-eat menu was a bit confusing. It seemed that if one person ordered it, everyone had to as well. I didn’t like that because I wasn’t in the mood for it, though the person I was with might have preferred it since it was only $3 more for his meal and appetite. Still, that didn’t ruin our experience; it was a good value for what we received. Perhaps on a different occasion, the endless food option would have been more appealing. There were a few highlights—the mushroom soup was delicious and easily the best thing on the menu, making up for the slightly overcooked shrimp. Overall, it was a good lunch, but if you’re looking for the best, this place isn’t it!”

“Well my friend and I decided to try the tavern for the first time and we were very happy we did. The service was great and the food was excellent. This was right after the hurricane. It's a place like this that's a welcome relief when you're having to deal with the aftermath. “Stopped in yesterday for takeaway Spaghetti and Meatballs. Mia, the cashier greeted us with the friendliest smile I have seen at a Fast Food place in ages. The meal was delicious! The meatballs were soft and fluffy not those hard little hockey pucks you often get. My companion ate the entire dinner. I am not able to eat large meals so with 3 meatballs I had one meatball and 1/3 of the pasta and have 2 more yummy dinners to look forward to. I almost forgot to mention the breadsticks. We both exclaimed how good they were and that they were a terrific accompaniment to the spaghetti. Thanks for serving such an enjoyable meal!”

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian or meatless options on the menu. They have tofu as well. I love the broccoli and garlic sauce, egg foo yung, vegetable delight

“A good local take out restaurant. We usually stick with the more classic dishes like General Tso or sesame chicken, we have never been dissatisfied, the lo mein is good as well. Definitely will continue to come back.. simple and you know what to expect, also the family running the restaurant has always been friendly to us.”

“All 5 of the guys made my burger. It's not an efficient use of the workforce, but it is wonderful to see their coordination and team spirit. Tom was especially great with the pickle placement. Oddly enough, they left Dale to man the fry station alone. One lady got mad at me for using the woman's restroom. But I had the runs so bad due to the homogenized grease in the patties. Sorry lady. It was that or paint the floor brown.

“We LOVE Capri's food-- especially the pepperoni and Capri Special pizzas. The atmosphere is very family friendly and often you'll see tables intermingling with one another- despite just meeting. I do feel bad for the wait-staff because it's usually 1 girl on the floor while the others are behind the counter. If the place is packed like it was last night, the poor girl is running ragged. I think there should be at least 2 girls during the busy times. Otherwise, go and order from Capri-- their food is delicious!”

“Tijuana Flats is consistently good food. I typically order the tacos or flautas. I usually go on “Taco Tuesday” where your can get 2 tacos, chips, and a soda for under $8. The knock on the food is they can be sparse with the beef on the tacos. The staff has been helpful and friendly each time I’ve been here so far. It’s an upbeat atmosphere with colorful art. Tijuana Flats is known for their sauce bar, which have humorous names, but not appropriate for children to see. No trash cans, servers throw away trash for you…which I’m not a fan of.

Parking: Part of a large plaza. Plenty of free parking.

Kid-friendliness: My sons love Tijuana Flats, they have a kids menu. Beware of sauce bar (names) with children.”
