“I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. Anna Maria Oyster Bar now has four locations, and after this experience, I’d definitely visit again. If you’re in the Ellenton area and craving fresh seafood with great service, this spot is a must-try!“

We were referred to Chef Melissa by the homeowner of our beach house rental.
Chef Melissa has been a perfect 10 out of 10 for us!
First, she was an absolute pleasure to work with in designing the menus for our family. We asked her to cook for two nights this week: Tuesday and tonight, Thursday. The food was perfectly prepared, she left the kitchen in our home spotless and best of all, she’s a delightful and funny person.
We are all stuffed and there are leftovers for tomorrow. She was so sweet to have separate menu selections for our granddaughter. You get what you pay for and if you want the absolute best, call Chef Melissa! I recommend her without hesitation and we will call her again when we return!“

“I celebrated my birthday at this quaint and unique space last month, and have been back several times since.
Meaghan, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, and a lovely person to chat with.
We have tried just about everything on their food menu, as well as sampled many of their wines. Everything we tried we loved!
We particularly enjoyed the Lola Pinot Noir. As we learned, Lola, is the label of her brother's vineyard in the Sonoma Valley.
Don't expect over-the-top service, expect excellent food, excellent wine, and excellent conversation.
Just love this place! Supporting local restauranteurs is so important. Keep the national chains from absorbing or forcing the mom and pops out.

We were immediately accomodated by the hostess with a fan pointed out way (oppresively hot!) and water for Hamish and a view of what was to come! Only the beginnings of great service and outstanding food: Camille P. our hostess came out immediately with smiles, suggestions and patience. We ordered our drinks (starting with 2-Conch Republic Key Lime Wheat beers) and our brilliant appetizer all brought with no rush nor bad tyming! We then ordered our appetizer which was both unique and most tasty- The Caprese Guac! Two more drinks of choice- the Honey Thyme Smoke Olde Fasioned & a Citrus Cannon- again spot on and magical! For our main my wife and I split the Bee Sting Pizza and the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad both enough for a split of 4 people with a taste and presentation like none other! Our relaxing and "take a breath" meal/day was finished off with a Pinapple Upside Down Cake (had to try it) to go! Needless to go on and on but we couldn't have been more impressed. We have lived in this area for 2+ years and treat ourselves weekly but never has the treat been so outstanding what with Camille P's humor, efficiency and shared knowledge but unique and abundant food we will be equally back for tyme and again... cheers to ownership (always reflected in the professionalism and great atmosphere of staff, thus planning and providing a place second to none!
